Holy smokes, you son of a gun! Get that thing outta my sight right now!
I'm sorry, I'm sorry! But… What happened?!
Well, I’m mighty glad ya asked, partner! Let me ask ya somethin’ first: Is it true I can’t see ya if you’re walking over on my right?
That’s right, but I always tell you I stay there to protect you because you can’t see anything over there… Oh! It’s a blind spot!
Exactly! Well, that fella in the van tried to switch lanes last minute, ya know, right between two eighteen-wheelers!! The guy in the video? He couldn't see him 'cause of his blind spot. And even if he had seen him, there ain't nothin' he coulda done! A truck can't just stop on a dime. Sometimes folks forget that. That’s why we got this sticker.
It’s a heads-up for other folks on the road, showin’ the spots I can’t see on account of blind spots. Even with mirrors on both sides of the rig, there’s still places where folks just disappear for me! See?

If someone gets too close to our truck and hangs out in one of these blind spots, we ain’t gonna see them. And let me tell ya, a wreck with a truck isn't something to mess around with—it’s a 18-ton beast, minimum. We, truck drivers, do our best to keep it slow in the right lanes and give folks some space, but we can’t be careful if we don’t know you’re there!
And why can I see other trucks without this sticker?
Oh! It depends on the regulations of the country. But you'll never know what will be our next road, so I put it there just in case. At best, it's purely informative. And information never killed anyone!
