Cannot imagine going to a country without even finding out how to say “hello”, “goodbye”, “thank you”, “please”. I’m watching a YouTube of a guy professionally vlogging a trip to Tibet that he’s apparently wanted to take ever since he was a child and he cannot speak a word of Tibetan. I genuinely do not understand. I became fascinated with Tibet as a child and got a phrasebook as soon as I found out this was an option. Now? With all the information we have at our fingertips? You’re going to just speak English at people for basic kindnesses and phrases? Couldn’t be me.

I think it's policy at the SGC that the first time you die, you get a memorial right away, but if you come back and die again they've gotta wait like, a month before they do anything, just to be sure. If you die, come back again, and then die a THIRD time, they wait a year.

They aren't allowed to hold memorial services for Daniel anymore.
