memory loss au's. specificaly vox forgetting Alastor vice verses his team. - being able to remember after a specific time or not to is optional.
Give me a tomarry/harrymort au where Voldemort loses his memories and tries to kill Harry, with whom he is in an established relationship by then. Give me the angst, give me the fear, the agony of having to run away from the person you love— the burning anger as one wakes up beside his enemy. And then comes the earth shattering horror as the memories hits. Give me the all consuming regret and the crippling grief after Voldemort remembers what he has done or nearly did, but by then Harry is already gone.
Giving me the scene where Harry is smiling at Voldemort and Voldemort is befuddled. The scene where Voldemort sends his first crucio at Harry, who for some reason is looking at him, his mortal enemy with utter trust. The part where Harry looks at him with grief and confusion and V feels something break in him— a part that gets dwarfed by the seething rage, for he thinks Harry is playing with him, he thinks this is some elaborate scheme and so, he attacks, and for the first time in years Harry runs for him because he doesn't want hurt Voldemort.
Greetings!
I offer the possessed! Vertin AU (inspired by @cheemken 's AU and ideas on Twitter)
Arcana already wants Vertin for some reason so this post 1.9 is an AU that somehow Vertin is infected during that final battle and slowly loses to Arcana.
Kinda the Manus infected Vertin possession by Arcana where she slowly infects Vertin, like the subtle infection where only people like TF, Madam Z, Sonetto and probably Mesmer Jr and Matilda notice personality changes in Vertin until right in the middle of Foundation Headquarters all hell breaks loose. Maybe a critical point with Constantine bringing up the Breakaway Incident that finally sends Vertin over the edge.
Consider an all out battle with suitcase and co. Plus the threat of a higher up using the Scorching Heart Incantation to just eliminate Vertin as she becomes the greatest threat to the Foundation.
(Vertin gets the Manus drip ofc ofc)
Outcome? Up to you.
(I really can go really angsty with this, like Sonetto getting injured by Vertin probably will send her over the edge)
But again up to you 👍
Bites you, hard.
Comrade, what the fuck is this? (Starts thinking about the outcome)
You know me, lover of Slight angst and hurt/comfort.
On the POSITIVE side, like the good ending, Vertin is able to get out of Arcana's possession. After the whole fight against everyone in the suitcase - final boss style, Vertin's connection with Arcana breaks because Arcana wants it to. Much like with Schneider, after having destroyed so much, injured so many people and ruined everything for her and the others, she is released.
There's Sonetto lying on the floor, holding the wounds caused by Vertin's arcane skills given by Arcana, deep wounds I must add. There's Mesmer Jr in a corner, unable to participate because she doesn't trust her Arcane ability and then there's Matilda, unconscious maybe alive maybe dead, the reason why Sonetto is still alive is her.
And there's The Foundation pointing their guns at Vertin, there's Madam Z unable to do anything, there's Tooth Fairy with a face worse than simple pain. Everyone has no idea what to do, then, she gets taken by the Foundation.
The people in the suitcase are being taken care of, Team Timekeeper no longer exists because there is no Timekeeper, they become soldiers of different branches of the foundation. There's a couple of dead bodies in those. Those who tried to get close to Vertin to stop her never made it too far, the healers are doing their best to bring them back, healing the wounded and treating the traumatized.
It's a mess, really. And Vertin is sealed until they're able to take care of Arcana, and maybe, she might not be released.
But it's the good ending, because she's alive and despite what has happened, there's still a silver chance to repair what has been broken, to severe that connection with Arcana.
And perhaps the deaths of her close friends, Matilda who gave her life away (we all know that if she had the chance to save Sonetto she would jump), she would feel insanely guilty.
As for the bad ending, however... Not a lot get the privilege to live. Vertin doesn't go back because she's Arcana's priced pawn, and she needs her for more moves. So they're gone, most of them either way. The British branch of the foundation in shambles, those who managed to survive are trying to save Vertin. It's too late though, Vertin will never be the same as long as Arcana has her claws around her.
It's the end.
A triangle is the most stable shape
Buck and Eddie and Tommy form a triangle.
It started with Buck and Eddie, of course. Best friends. Some might say life partners, even, because Eddie cannot picture his life without Buck any more than he can picture not being a father. Buck is firmly entrenched in the Diaz family now.
Then Tommy showed up, and befriended Eddie easily, having many similar interests. Tommy's confident and fun, incredibly likable, and has a wickedly dry sense of humor. In Tommy, Eddie's found a cool big brother he can call on for advice or practical help.
And then, while Eddie was unaware of their inclinations, Tommy kissed Buck (and calls him Evan) (and Buck likes it), which makes their romance the third line in their relationships.
It should be okay. It should feel okay.
Eddie's delighted for Buck. It's been a long time since Buck glows like that, is giddy like that. Eddie doesn't know if he himself has ever been like that in his romantic relationships - the nonstop smiling, the distracted answers, the photo in his locker (it's a great photo of Tommy too, shirtless and gleaming, standing at a grill, with a huge goofy smile and mussed up hair).
But Eddie feels lost and forgotten. Not the third point but a third wheel.
It's not like they leave him out. They ask him along for dinners or on outings, because they're nice, but Eddie isn't sure he ought to join them. They must have better plans than keeping him company.
Without anyone to distract him, Eddie notices a lot more. He doesn't miss the way they hold hands, their fingers interlinked. Or the way Tommy's nose scrunches up when he smiles, and he smiles a lot around Buck. And he doesn't miss how often Buck leans into Tommy's space, as if fully certain that Tommy can take his weight.
He also doesn't miss how he wants to have someone's hand in his own, to feel a warm body pressed against his side as they walk, to kiss someone for the joy of it.
For now he basks vicariously and selfishly in the warmth of the love that Buck and Tommy are exuding. It is heady and addicting.
Part of him wants inside that bubble where everything is golden and perfect, and he resents himself for it. He doesn't want to barge into it, to demand they give him what they're giving each other. He doesn't want to lose either of them.
They have a good thing going, he reminds himself. Buck doesn't need you screwing this up for him. Tommy trusts you, too. You don't want to lose that trust.
A triangle is the most stable shape, Christopher told him once, reading from a book borrowed from the library.
But right now, walking next to Buck and Tommy yet somehow feeling utterly alone, Eddie isn't too sure that is correct.
A Kaeya Piece, Cuz I Can't Help Myself
TW: Implied past attempted murder
"My my, how is the All-Creator doing?" A familiar voice mused. You looked up, eyes landing on Kaeya. He was leaning against the doorway to your room, a smirk on his lips. You frowned slightly, uncrossing your legs and letting your feet fall to the lush, carpeted floor.
"I've been better." You mutter bitterly, staring down at your feet.
Quiet footsteps sounded closer and soon the bed dipped next to you. You didn't look up to see him, the emotions in you starting to rise like a wave as your brain threw back some of the memories of your first experience in Teyvat.
Traitor. Impostor. Die. Die. Die. Impostor. Impostor. Impostor. Traitor. Fake. Sinner. Sinner. Sinner-
You felt his hand slowly tilt your face up, making sure you were staring at him now. A smirk was plastered on his handsome face, hazy, half-lidded blue eyes staring back at you. You blinked in surprise, feeling your face warm up.
"Kaeya?" You tentatively asked.
His smirk turned into a relaxed smile.
"Everything will be alright, Divine One. No one else is going to harm you and if they do..." A shadow passed over his eyes. "They will pay, as have all those so called non-believers."
You nod slowly, reaching up a hand and touching his gently, trying to ignore how shaky yours was compared to his.
"Thank you, Kaeya. It really means a lot. What you just said." You whisper, voice wavering just a touch.
Kaeya nodded.
"Of course, All-Creator. Anything for you."
“what do you hope to achieve by coming here, Archie?” dark eyes turn to her ex-boyfriend, leaning back against the counter behind her. they were on opposite sides in this, enemies if you want to call it that, since she had chosen to side with Percival (for reasons Archie would never understand). “i'm not going to change my mind, there is no better side of me to plead to. not anymore.”
@legacysouls gets a season 6 thing for Archie
What if Meliodas was mute? Like.. the idea I have here is that during the fight between the gods, Meliodas got a permanent injury that ducked up his vocal chords tot he point he couldn’t speak anymore. While it’s true his injuries healed upon revival, the DK is an ass and decide to give Meliodas just a little bit of extra punishment on top of the curse. He made sure that no matter what, whether he’s revived or a healing spell is used, the injury to his neck would never fully heal. Rendering him mute.
