[RadioSubs] Anigera Compilation
It has been exactly ONE YEAR since I started subbing radio episodes so I wanted to do something ‘special’ for fun!
Before I started subbing I had been listening to seiyuu radio and I’ve always enjoyed similar compilations of fun radio clips made by Japanese listeners. But I have never seen one subbed in English. Not that it’s a surprise since it’s relatively harder and more time consuming to sub radio (in my opinion), and there are simply not that many translators/subbers for the seiyuu fandom I think? Anyway, I wanted to do one and here is it! This is a compilation of my favorite seiyuu combi Nakamura x Sugita <3
It’s a well-known fact that Sugita talks A LOT about Nakamura on radio, which gave birth to the tag #今週の中村 which means #this week’s Nakamura xD (btw, there is a tag #今週の杉田 but well, Sugita talks more xD) This compilation is exclusively from Sugita’s Anigera radio, and yes I have the habit of listening to shows from the very beginnings...(you probably noticed that with DGS as well...) but yeah, I’ve listened to the first 10 episodes and beyond, and Nakamura’s name has appeared in EVERY SINGLE ONE.....Note that I did not include episode 6 in the compilation, where Nakamura appeared as a guest. I may have other plans for that episode so we will see xD No, I don’t intend to sub the whole episode because...Anigera is simply a b*tch to sub/translate...orz I could barely do this compilation with all the countless references that Sugita throws out...Nakamura was mentioned in every single episode, but I only picked out ones that have more content/information in them, I don’t think you’re missing out too much since the ones I’ve omitted are mostly passing mentions.
Several guests/mentions appeared in this episode: Morikubo Showtaro, Okamoto Nobuhiko, Mafia Kajita (though he’s more a regular personality there...), Sanpei Yuuko, Kedoin Makoto (briefly)...and of course Nakamura Yuuichi XD Note that I don’t play all the games Sugita plays so I’m sometimes unclear of the context of what they are saying (like FFXI) so I may get some stuff wrong >< Pictures used are mostly for effect, I’m not sure if they actually match the ones they were talking about...
