Since we're never shown how Ankylomon got in the air to do their attack I'm saying Iori threw them up in the air when they were Armadimon and evolved them mid air so Ankylomon could fall on the Eosmon and fucking crush them.

Is it more likely that Ankylomon just jumped in the air themselves? Yes. My headcanon is way funnier though so I'm saying it's canon

Imperialdramon Paladin is known to be the founder of the Royal Knights and saved the Digital World in ancient times, right?

We give the Adventure 02 quartet independent ultimate and mega forms and refer to their megas as members of the Ancient Royal Knights

Veemon is the King's Successor. Wormmon is the King's Shadow. Hawkmon is the King's Left Hand. Armadillomon is the King's Right Hand

This expands on already established lore of them being descendants of ancient digimon, we get more info on that incident that happened in the past, and they all finally get official ultimate and mega evolutions that don't need jogress to achieve

Maybe giving Veemon another Royal Knight seems unnecessary, but if we're giving new evos to Hawkmon, Armadillomon, and Wormmon, might as well do a full set. ExVeemon should be allowed to evolve into a new digimon too
