I think it's a wasted opportunity that the only 02 partner Digimon with a dedicated full evo line is Wormmon (even if that line came from media other than 02). I decided to make my own, starting with Aquilamon.

Wuchowsemon. Level: Perfect/Ultimate. Attribute: free. Field: Wind Guardians. Type: Giant Bird. Wuchowsemon is a colossal bird with wings wreathed in swirling wind. It lives on a mountain at the western edge of the Digital World and each flap of its wings creates gusts of wind that affect the weather of the entire Digital World. Legend says that the wind it created caused destruction across the Digital World until a hero defeated it in battle. The band on its left leg was attached by the hero and restricts its power, preventing it from causing excessive destruction with the wind it creates. Its special moves are releasing a gale of destructive wind by flapping its wings (Tempest Gale) and charging the foe with its horns (Great Glide Horn).

Animikiimon. Level: Ultimate/Mega. Attribute: free. Field: Wind Guardians. Type: Divine Bird. It is the largest of all bird Digimon and accepts no master, valuing freedom above all else. Its body is wreathed in stormclouds and a storm follows it wherever it flies. Only on rare occasions will it disperse the clouds and allow others to approach. Because of this, many Digimon do not realize it is a bird type instead of a living storm. Animikiimon is revered across the Digital World as the god of weather, but it does not desire or respond to worshipers. It is said that Animikiimon's left head looks to the sky and its right head examines the ground below. Because of this, it has a great knowledge of the Digital World. Its special moves are summoning a storm to destroy the foe with lightning, wind, and hail (Fury of the Storm) and crushing the foe with its incredible mass (Falling Skies).

I like the native American design elements of Hawkmon and Aquilamon, so when designing new evolutions, I turned to mythology. While taking inspiration form myths, I tried to avoid directly copying symbols from those cultures.

Wuchowsemon is based on the Wuchowsen (also called Wochowsen, Wajosen, Wotjou'san, etc), a figure found in the myths of multiple cultures including the Abnaki, Penobscot, Maliseet, Passamaquoddy, and Mi'kmaq. Its name means wind-bringer and it is said to be a giant eagle that sits on a mountain at the edge of the sky and creates the wind by flapping its wings. In many stories, it creates devastation with its wind, so a hero goes to kill it. However, it turns out the world needs wind, so the hero is forced to being the Wuchowsen back to life, but will bind it or damage one wing so the wind isn't as strong. I referenced this myth in Wuchowsemon's description.

Animikiimon is based on the thunderbird, a motif from many cultures all across North America with many, many different depictions and stories about it. It is usually depicted as a giant bird that is associated with weather, particularly thunderstorms. The two heads and colorful patterns on Animikiimon's body are inspired by Haida depictions of the thunderbird. Its name comes from Animikii, the Anishinaabe name for the thunderbird. I would have used Thunderbirdmon, but that's already taken.
