I'm disappointed to find out that there was a show accurate game based on the first Digimon Adventure series
but only on PSP AND only in Japan. I feel like we were robbed of this personally, I looked up gameplay and it looked like a lot of fun, it's an RPG like Final Fantasy or Dragon's Quest, the visuals look just like the anime even down to the exact same transformation animations. Also we get to see the Mega forms for the other main characters
which I never really got why they never appeared in the anime. I suppose we did at least get Patamon and Gatomon's Megas in the movie.
In any case, we need to reach out to Bandai Namco about re-releasing this game on modern consoles.
i really wish that there was an ultimate in ikkakumon's line that isn't zudomon because as much as i love zudomon he doesn't really work for me when going from ikkakumon -> zudomon -> plesiomon because plesimon is so cool but zudomon completely breaks the theme. he makes a lot of sense when vikemon is the mega but its just a shame because there is no other option than zudomon to get to plesiomon a purposed alternate digivolution line ive heard that i like is gomamon -> dolphmon -> whamon -> plesiomon (or alternatively to marineangemon instead (which is already in gomamon's line (by gross technicality) but whatever)
when looking for other possible digivolutions to plesiomon that i like i only found two (marinebullmon and huankunmon) and i dont even really like them that much they still dont fit with what i want.
also thinking about it i do like the idea of gomamon -> urashimamon (dubiously canon digimon (gomamon + digiegg of reliability)) -> zudomon -> vikemon to keep up with the aquatic warrior type thing but idk because urashimamon is Not Very Real but i still like him
Finally finished my Digimon ocs refs yippee.
They're loosely based in the dawn and dusk universe or whatever.
Hope to draw them more often :>
