Thinking about Ann Evans today. Ann, who hopes that poor little boy at the group home got the help he needed and couldn't provide, and doesn't think very highly of the poor kid turned drunken farm hand her perfect twins are rarely far from.
Ann Evans, who plays Bridge with people who's sons don't deserve speeding tickets, we know their family honey, he's a good guy, come on.
She does yoga. She does not eat breakfast. Isobel probably shouldn't either. Isobel also shouldn't go to the doctor unless anything is seriously wrong- and nothing is ever seriously wrong.
Clearly she thought Noah was a good enough match for Isobel, but wasn't horribly torn up about her son in law's death. Or maybe she was playing it strong for Isobel. Someone has to, since her perfect angel Max has seemingly dropped on the face of the Earth, except for the very un-Max like texts he is sending. But that is none of the police's business, thanks Sheriff, please look into the graffiti popping up around town instead.
How many times do you think she had to have electricians over to the house, when her kids were young? The lights always sparking, the bulbs blowing, the power lines around them failing every time Max had any strong emotion.
I didn't like her much, but I wish she'd gotten more than three episodes, because I feel like they could have done some really good Evans family angst plotlines.
