What did you decide about Annea and the water supply on Elaaden? I was really conflicted, but ending up choosing to oust Annea and share the water. Water is a necessity of life and SAM said that the Vault wouldn't be able to change things fast enough for there to be surface water soon. But it's not so great to come in and take things from the natives (in this case Annea). And a lot of the exiles there seem to be crummy, so I hope there won't be turf wars now that the lake has been found. Idk :/

Ah, I let Annea keep it. Because I don't trust the scavengers. As she said it herself:"The scavengers respect no one. Not me, not you. But they do respect the planet. As long as they need me to survive, they live by my rules."

They killed her brother when they had free access to the resources. I would be as angry as her if they did that to my sibling, and I would try my best to keep the water supply a secret from them. And she was reasonable.

She said: "Your Nexus needs resources to survive. Elaaden is rich in those. What I gather, I will share. Just so long as Elaaden remains mine."

I thought: “That's fair.” The Nexus has done enough to her. She’ll share, that’s already a good thing.

It’s obviously more complicated because in a way, she’s buying your silence with resources on the side... But she’s still sharing with others, even if they pay the price. And obviously she had an opportunity to share before but knew it would give her an advantage to keep this a secret.

Truth be told, I just didn’t want to be another person from the Nexus who takes and takes. So yeah, guilt made me do it. Which is kinda hypocritical. I’m still stealing resources all the time...
