production sketches i made to help with writing Chapter Nine of Daughter of the Wild One. which is out now. go read it. i'm very happy with how it turned out.

i went back and rewrote chapters 3, 4, and 5 of Daughter of the Wild One because i've improved a lot over the last two years since i wrote them. chapters 6 and 7 are next, with some touching up to chapter 8 before i finally get around to releasing chapter 9. i already rewrote chapters 1 and 2 back in 2023.

it would be very epic and awesome and cool of you if you went back and read the newer versions of these chapters because i am very happy with them.

if you've never heard of Daughter of the Wild One before, it's a fanfic i'm writing about The Owl House where Luz is Eda's biological daughter, with all the shenanigans and world changing consequences you would expect from this. it would make me very happy if you read it.

Chapter Seven/Nine Production Sketches [DotWO]

A collection of sketches, made while planning and writing both Chapter Seven and Chapter Nine of Daughter of the Wild One. 

Drawing baby King and baby Luz was an absolute treat, they're just so adorable. I've never taken the time to draw Eda before, even in the unreleased sketches I made while planning out another project (which likely won't see the light of day for a while), so that was a learning experience. The outfit ideas I went through are inspired from various sources and different outfits that the characters wore, though I tried to put unique spins on each of them that give them some diversity in my universe. 

I'm sorry about the lack of proper, fully-drawn pieces, I've simply been really fixated on developing Daughter of the Wild One, and that's taken nearly all of my creative energy. I hope, even if you're not interested in reading the fic, that you'll enjoy the work I've put into these development sketches.

Chapter Six Production Sketches [DotWO]

A collection of sketches made while working on Daughter of the Wild One, Chapter Six. 

The leftmost one features my design for Harbinger, a shady dealer of all trinkets and trade in the Night Market that we see featured prominently in the middle of the chapter. The upper right is a general idea of what Lilith looks like after she adorns the Concealment Stone. The bottom right guy is mentioned one time, and only once. He holds no purpose, but I thought it'd be funny to sketch him.

FSNSS - Chapter Five: Where Thy Story Ends, Part II

That's a wrap! I had a lot of fun finishing out this story. I understand if people don't agree with my chosen characterizations of the three other animatronics; I didn't stick to the conventional norms with them, but did my best to work with and around their depictions in the game. I hope you enjoyed reading, because I certainly enjoyed tying this off with a bow.

I don't know how long it will be before it's at a place where I can start posting (as it is very early in the writing process), but the third installment of the series, By Blood, We Be Not Bound, is being planned out. It will be a companion peace to For We are One in the Same, but will also expand greatly upon the weeks following the fateful night of this story. I'm not gonna tell you to look out for that; I have no clue how long it will take to write. I do hope you'll read it whenever it eventually comes out, though.
