About tagging

This post is all about the tagging situation on this blog. Underneath the poll with all the options you can see all the ideas and thoughts of the anons with notes from me about the cons of each option. THESE ARE ALL THE COMMUNITIES IDEAS, NOT MINE. Please read everything to the end for the dure of the poll and my temporary solution for the mean time.

Every poll option states what it is and the most obvious con that it has.

What way of tagging do you prefer

Current way of tagging. We will have the same problem again.

A critical [ship/fandom/character] tag. Can show up blank on fyp.

Putting a / between the names. People can’t filter out topics they don’t like.

Change the order of the names. People cant filter out the topics they don't like

No tags besides number and danmei. Nobody can filter anything.

This is an idea thats workable, but negative post can still show up in the main tag and it can row up as a blank post after people block the critical tag in their fyp.

Unfortunately a special tag/nickname that only I use requires that I know all danmei and everything about them, therefore this is not a workable option.

Changing the name order is something thats workable but it has the added negative of people no longer being able to filter out the ships that they do not want to see at all.

The slash has been suggested multiple times so I will come back to that.

This is an option that would work for me. But it does make it impossible to filter it out for people that dont want to see the ship at all.

This is also a way to deal with it, but I dont think that this will slove anything for the long run. But thank you for trying to make my load less anon.

A lot of confession blogs use no tags besides fandom and a number. So I also added that as an option. But that will also mean that nobody can filter anything at all.

I want to thank all anons again for their suggestions and time. This poll will run for a week. For that time I will just tag only the danmei tag and the submission number. What is also a option to vote for.

That would be what I mean! I just watched a documentary on runners who participate in events like Badwater, or Barkley, and it’s just as much an effort on the part of a runner’s support making sure these athletes get enough rest, water, snacks, etc. it got me thinking!!

first, i’m gonna need a title to that doc cause 😏 i need to watch it.

second, lyonel would probably put dunk through HELL. it would be chill until lyonel just can’t stop running his mouth and he knows exactly what he’s doing because dunk is so red and too quiet. raymun is his saving grace, and he loves lyonel for being there with him, but that man is a lot.

but y’know, it works good. good enough that when dunk does make it to you and egg, he’s somehow more appreciative to have you there for him. at that point he doesn’t care, and probably even forgets how sweaty and tired he is and he’ll drape himself over you.

ALSO glad you mentioned aerion…i believe aerion would attempt to sabotage—think the trial of seven—and entice to take you and the boy for himself. leave dunk without the heart of his crew, which, in the impossible circumstances that happens, would end that career entirely.

ps you knoooowwww rowan will be there too with you and egg. raymuns excuse was, “well, i need someone to take care of me, too!” and he and rowan are all giggly bro get your head in the game

What do we think about an AU where Dunk is an ultrarunner, and Egg and reader are his loyal aid station crew?

forgive me, anon, but what’s an ultrarunner?

i did look it up and all i’m getting is someone (an athlete, if you will) that races and exceeds past the standard for marathons…is that what you mean?

if so,

if you have any thoughts on this please share. dunk is a UNIT and having egg and reader as his crew would make him lethal. most endurable man to ever live. i like to think he could do anything (physically) and exceed at it, he just needs more exposure. otherwise he’s going home to the most suspicious apartment known to the world and is barely making rent along with keeping enough food in the fridge cause, uhm, he has you and his adopted bald boy to feed.

living with the chain is not night owl friendly in the slightest and im gonna yell about it

i always found it a little ridiculous that the chain all fall asleep at like. basically the same time excluding watches. like they are all Morning People (derogatory) /silly

i find it funny to imagine reader in that scenario because i, a person who cannot recall going to sleep before like 2 in the morning... ever... would be actually fighting for my life.

god forbid reader has other problems with sleeping around people (using myself as an example: people can't touch me because i overheat (even just a hand), and any snoring will tempt me to commit atrocities worthy of the 6 o'clock news), because i think this would actually be their personal hell. it'd certainly be mine

at that point would reader even sleep... like sure, they'd be dead on their feet before 2 pm if they can't at least sneak in a power nap before everyone is alive... but unfortunately, the sun exists and it doesnt decide to dim itself so you can go honk mimimimi. because the sun is a bastard.

so reader, an Idiot (affectionate), might just try and suck it up only for biology and the hat man to catch up with them like "bitch u thought" and cast Instant Heart Attack on the entire chain when they suddenly just drop and conk out for like 17 straight hours

if the reader and chain are friendly i think at some point they won't even bother waking reader up and will just carry them. twi would. four would in spirit if he weren't 4 foot nothing.

Fake!Cryptid batfam au in which a small, real and young cryptid wants to be Bruce's apprentice since Batman is rumored to be a ( insert magical entity of your choice, but I personally prefer one in which they're like a Pantheon with everyone being different kind of spirits/supernatural beings). Bruce explains he is a human but the small cryptid isn't buying it and decides "dumbasses, I'll take care of them" since the child sees that the family normally doesn't take care of themselves (lack of sleep, brushing off wounds, etc) and becomes a medic for them.

Cut to said child pulling some medical shit that could only work with a magical being but somehow works on a batfam member too

Tim: "Doctor, what are you doing?"

Doctor -insert name- (small child): "Healing you"

Tim: "But you said this only worked on non-humans, and as far as I know–"

*wounds close*

Tim: "..."

Bruce: "..."

Basically everyone - Alfred (an immortal): "..."

And the baby is smiling smugly while they watch.

How, you may ask. Well...

Plot twist: Since Gotham is cursed and the power of faith is strong, the belief of them being non-humans transforms them into non-humans. Bonus points if Gothamites make offerings to the batfam

Alternatively, Gotham ended up making her knights stronger and be similar beings to her (optional, maybe a Lady Gotham manifestation?-)

ooooOO I frigging love this anon. It has a good plot, imagine Tim becomes part of the Chinese pantheon I would say something similar to Zhu Long — Dragon of Time and Season, because of the whole Bruce stuck in the Time Stream ordeal and Tim is the only one to rescue him and also he never seems to age; he also seems to never eats or sleeps, which Zhu long also doesn't.

I also Imagine this very young cryptid kid who keeps a semi-human form since they believe Bruce is doing the same and wants to be like him.

Healing Tim is the start of the revelation that they all suddenly changed somehow, and I like the idea of the power of faith being so strong it changes them; maybe it can be influenced or done by Lady Gotham blending the two ideas.

Immortal Alfred I love that so much. I wonder if he has always been immortal or maybe, when Bruce was a kid, he didn't want anyone else to leave him, believing, maybe even wishing so hard, that his only support system and that's how Alfred becomes immortal, which somehow no one's noticed at this point.

So we have down for what or whom he might become; now other members—oh boy, this list is gods and creatures I find similar to them, not who they are.

Bruce, I wanted him to have a more talked-about pantheon like Greek, so I chose Nemesis; Bruce is often referred to as handsome, a

Dick, I feel like he would be Romani because of the belief in the fandom that his heritage and he would be Bar o Devel, which is the name of the god of power and music.

Jason, I kind of went with Viking/Norse beliefs because of Jason's originally having red hair, which I love. I thought Höd would be a perfect fit, not just because of Hood, lol, but also because he died and came back to life as well.

Steph I thought the Celtic god Aengus Óg was a Celtic god of love, youth, poetry, and summer.

Cass since her Chinese heritage, I also picture her as Kuan Yin a Chinese goddess of mercy and compassion and one of Buddhism's most beloved

Duke, I don't know his race. I'm guessing African American because nothing comes up but meta-human; I don't know. Shango is a Yoruba god of thunder, lightning, and justice. 

Damien a lot of people say he is Arabic, so we are going with it. I would make him similar to Nasr, which is the Himyarites' deity of the vulture, whose name means "vulture" in Arabic.  Some scholars believe Nasr was a symbol of the sun,

To the anon who messaged me a very sweet and very beautifully kind message about my work and then told me what kind of story they’d like in the future. Just know you have been heard and I greatly appreciate your message. It meant the world to me.

I also didn’t want to share it publicly because it was just so sweet and I didn’t know if you would want me too.

But I’ll get working on your idea in the future!!!
