“Not at all. You don’t just ask it to show you whatever you want, and you see that.”
“So how does it work?”
“You know I’m not going to tell you about that, even assuming I know anything to tell. We shouldn’t be talking about this at all.”

“Well, it’s not like I just asked to know whatever you think, so maybe it’s a little like your Device. I have some parameters of the situation in advance, and based on those, I’m able to read what you present, even if you’re not actively aiming to communicate certain things specifically. I enter into the experience, and observe. The signs are there. Is it at all like that?”
“You know more than you’ve been letting on, it would seem. We really shouldn’t be talking about this any more.”
