I’ve made this post every Mother’s Day for a few years now. My Mother was very abusive and mentally ill. I haven’t spoken to her in many years. I was lucky enough however, to have some great female role models in my life. Friend’s Moms, Teachers, and Neighbors that took me under their wing and showed me what love really meant and what being emotionally stable looked like.
