Have you ever heard of the god "Antewy" in Egyptian mythology? Cause I think he definitely deserves the spotlight 😂 basically, it's two gods in one get-along shirt, and guess who these two gods are? 🥬

My Experiences With the Netjeru (Part 2):

Horus the Younger: If Rami Malek's twin was bright green... Playful. Light-spirited.

Osiris: Dresses in expensive layers. Plant metaphors. Really convoluded explanations... Amused silence. Considers, while saying nothing. Generally kind. Presents as an older guy.

Isis: Strict but nice mom vibe. Stop. I told you to stop. *MOM GLARE* Likes parties with friends.

Sekhmet: Is Rihanna. Just... IS Rihanna. I blame The Wicked And The Divine (By which I mean THANK YOU GODDESS BLESS.) RADIATES HEAT and the LIGHT OF THE SUN. Grins like you're either a snack or she's flirting with you... She's definitely flirting with you.... Holy G--- Don't save me. HUGE CRUSH. Makes you feel like you could take on anything and win. (I've only met her twice, so I have not a lot to say, but damn, she makes an impression.)

Sobek: Is confused why I am here at his shrine... Listens with a small frown. "You have the love of so many gods. Why do you doubt your worthiness?" Patient, concerned hug. Crocodile skin. Is cool to the touch. Suddenly-- BARREL ROLL! Your weariness sheds off of you.

Antewy/Horus-Set: "Can you see the horison?" *lifts me onto his shoulders* "Look." ... "Don't worry. You will be able to take in more light with time." Smiles like all is right with the universe... You start to believe that it is. Kisses like a dream. Horus's wise curiosity and joy, with Set's passion, burning core, and demonstrative presence... Is so much more than that... Talks to you about nothing and everything under the stars. Is in no hurry. Is the manifestation of two amazing gods getting along-- and that is fucking AMAZING. (Set's attitude about Antewy-- "Hey, kid! Look what we can do! You'll like it. *wink*" ---- Horus's attitude about Antewy-- "Okay. I get to be on top.")
