they "accept" us but only when we express our genders in certain ways
they “accept” us but only when we stay quiet about our queerness despite people like us suffering due to awful laws and queerphobia
they “accept” us but only when we fit neatly into a little label
they “accept” us but only when we tear our own community apart from infighting because apparently some of us are “better queers” (not fucking true btw)

i DESPISE all this sanitisation and erasure of the queer community now that big companies have gotten involved.
I hate how people dont want kink at pride despite the history of their community helping ours (also dont fucking pull the "what about the minors :((((“ bullshit btw. i literally am a minor, and if you think they’re too young just do what you do for any other “normal” adult thing like smoking and whatnot) I hate how queer people cant be angry at the laws in place that are hurting us and the pigs attending pride despite them being the ones that have hurt our community so much because “pride is supposed to be happy” pride was a fucking riot and a protest to begin with, stfu. I hate how you cant just call yourself a boy-girl or a queer anymore, it has to be like 6 different labels. I hate how the corporations are shaping pride to what THEY want just because it “didnt fit their brand” before. maybe dont fucking use that for your bullshit advertising then if it doesnt fit your brand
