Almost finished with a massive fridge clean out while my mom is traveling. I've been doing it in stages.

It's a little alarming how much of what's left is alcoholic beverages. People bring us a lot, especially bottles of wine, and we don't drink that quickly or often. I'm going to need to have the neighbors over for cocktail hour.

The freezer is in the crosshairs next. Pretty sure there's an apple pie in there that someone brought us when my dad died (eight years ago).

Why do my parents think I will throw a crazy house party when they’re gone? I don’t have nearly enough friends for that and cleaning up a party involves, like, work.

I feel so fuckin stupid sometimes. I say really stupid things and everything is awkward. Most of the time I can't have a normal conversation with someone, because I either don't know what to say or feel embarrassed and anxious. I hate it, but I don't know how to change it. Also most of the times I just don't want to talk to people, so I sit with my headphones in and ignore everything. And recently I've been avoiding every social event I could. Sometimes I even avoid conversation with my internet friends. I'm really sorry for wasting your time. I just needed to let it all out.

A note

thing is, i know humans are social creatures. dudes, i know. but hell, I don’t socialize bc i hear this type of shit in a passive-aggressive way from my mother, and then she forces me to talk to people that I either a) don’t even know, or b) knew a long time ago and haven’t talked to in ages. 

Thing is, when I do try to socially interact, most of the time I’m ignored or whatever by whoever I’m trying to talk to - a select few people aren’t like that, and I thank you for that - but most people just kind of brush me off or absentmindedly nod and don’t really pay attention. I really don’t like socialization bc people in general don’t want to socialize with me.
