If Aoi develops a crush on Yusaku I hope he isn't obvious to her feelings and I hope he returns her feelings The closest one we had was Yusei and Aki.
It’s been established that Yusaku is extremely observant. It’s like the dude can pick up on micro-expressions. It’s his special talent.
So if/when Aoi develops feelings for him, I would be very surprised if those signals flew over Yusaku’s head.
With main guy/main girl ships, I think faithshipping was the closest. Apparently Yuma and Kotori had something going on, too (I’m not 100% on that, though)? I typically don’t like these ships because most of the time, I find that the main guy and main girl could grow more alone/with other people than by being romantically involved with each other.
But if the predictions on Aoi are correct, things may be different here? We already know that Yusaku has a lot of growing to do (hopefully the writers will follow through); if Aoi does as well, then they may best be able to do so together.
This is Aoi and Sakuno's wedding song and they sing it to eachother in a duet on their wedding day and no one can tell me otherwise. It's so cute and happy and bubbly and optimistic and just totally worthy of an adorable blushy innocent romance like that.
