'You lied to me!" Aouli said, he was hurt and didn’t completely understand how to get that through to Tyson. Tyson didn’t care. Aouli knew Tyson didn’t care but. He loves Tyson and Tyson’s always right so why would Aouli doubt him. He’s not smart enough to doubt him.

"I never lied to you, I said I was going to a friend's house." A lie.

"But you never--"

“I told you I would be going to a friend’s house; did you seriously not remember?”

“Before you left, we were talking about our date tonight...”

“Well, I don’t even like Chinese, so I don’t understand why you’d even pick to get food from there.”

“Last time we talked about this you said you loved Chinese food and—”

Aouli couldn’t lie. These things Tyson said hurt. They always did but Aouli knew that Tyson was right that everything Tyson said was the truth.
