for the watercolor asks, payne's gray, oxide of chromium, azure blue, and violet rose!
payne’s gray; describe your aesthetic?
okay no this is difficult bc my aesthetics are constantly at war but! let’s give it a go okay. tea in the middle of the night, very old books and libraries, oversized sweaters, leather jackets, kind of light academia but minus the effort levels that so many ppl put into it + the rest is what i like to call an Attempt to be a skater (the wardrobe and only 50% of the skill)
oxide of chromium; what’s your favourite book?
oh god,, help okay idk if i have one but i Love six of crows and i love the hunger games so one of these two????
azure blue; what’s your favourite type of tea, if any?
lmao riley knows this but i have a bit of a thing for strawberry tea,, don’t ask i literally can’t explain it! also i’m from the UK so just normal breakfast tea w a bit of milk and specifically One sugar bc ppl who put anything more than that in tea scare me!
violet rose; what does your dream house look like?
hm okay probably a bit city apartment (this is a dream not a financial reality lmao) and generally a minimal aesthetic but i’d want a kitchen full of colour and light + also. plants. everywhere. and big windows!! and ooh also some of those semi transparent white curtains bc they!!
Could you possibly do headcanons for a daughter of Aphrodite and a son of Hecate? Idk I just think it’d be an interesting match
A/n: Oh anon, I had so much fun with this and I may emphasized a concept hard and ran with it. Hope you enjoyed it and have a nice day!

No but honestly, I can see the Son of Hecate whenever they need to cast magic, especially powerful magic, they tap into the power of love of their beloved daughter of Aphrodite and just go BOOM!
Also alternatively, the daughter of Aphrodite gives the Son of Hecate her love to help his magic, and it's stronger than ever.
My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic where Shining Armor and Princess Cadence fight finale against Queen Chrysalis episode scene right there {LINK}
I’m just imagining the Son of Hecate not understanding what he’s feeling and why his magic is going so haywire but it's just him catching those feelings and that’s why his magic is not under his control like usual.
The Daughter of Aphrodite not realizing or also not figuring out where this magic is coming from or why their charmspeak or alluring power is stronger than ever, especially with that fetching son of Hecate is around her, and whoops, it turns out his magic and love for her, was being reciprocated with the daughter of Aphrodite’s own feelings and unlocked her magical power.
Magic power couple and it gets sickening sweet and tiring whenever they use the (magic) power of Love.
Soul mate magic???? 🤔
The Son of Hecate has to be careful brewing magic because if he starts thinking and being heads over heels while he’s brewing potions and oops, he accidentally makes a love potion.
The Daughter of Aphrodite gives her boyfriend so many insights in the emotional aspects of magic, as well as giving him encouragement when he’s having trouble with spells.
The Son of Hecate having no shame asking his girlfriend for help whenever love curses and magic is happening, and cheering her on.
Alternatively, the son of Hecate being immune by being enchanted, lured, cursed with love by another because he has his girlfriend with him and her aura sticks to him. Or the protection from the daughter of Aphrodite she gives him whenever she kisses him.
The Daughter of Aphrodite giving the Son of Hecate so many fashion and aesthetic ideas for his whole thing being a child of Hecate, and letting him ramble how her charmspeaking powers work,
while the Son of Hecate giving the daughter of Hecate so many magical gifts from protection charms to spells that range from cosmetic to practical ideas and always complimenting her that her beauty as a person outside and inside is a magic he can never perform or get right ever and he’s so lucky to have ♥️
They both somehow figure out to make hearts fly from their fingers and kisses into actual (semi-) solid form to send each other. Casualties that have occurred and not limited to: accidentally hitting someone who got in the crossfire, the heart exploding on impact on each other or other objects, accidentally making others lovesick for a moment.
Ensue shenanigans. Lovely shenanigans.
I can only imagine during date nights are magical where the daughter of Aphrodite has many meaningful ideas for them to go on dates of, broadening the son of Hecate’s viewpoint and showing the magic of experiences and of the world around them with the help of his loved one, and the son of Hecate puts a lot of twists and spark to their dates as he can use magic to expand her ideas or experiences or whatever is missing, the son of Hecate can make it happen with magic.
Of course its not like every date is going to be magical and perfect, and the experience of dating each other won’t have its ups and down, but they manage and make it happen with the magic of love between them.
PJO ROMAN DEMIGOD HEADCANONS:💖 VENUS: GODDESS OF LOVE AND SEXUALITY, BEAUTY, DESIRE, SEX, PROSPERITY, AND VICTORY 😘
Author’s Note: This was one of the ones I thought of first technically cause Venus is so easily to write for in the Roman sense so it's going to be probably longer cause this was a warm up to get a groove on.
ROMAN DEMIGODS H/CS MASTERLIST LINKS: [TUMBLR] // [AO3]
Oh gods, you know how many children of Aphrodite can be conceited with their vanity inflated? and like they act like a celebrity? Yeah, the people of New Rome and Camp Jupiter only feed into that.
Everyone respects you off the bat or treats you better because of how Venus (well technically Aphrodite) is the ancestor of the Roman people and the foundation of Rome, through her son Aeneas after the fall of Troy, who would eventually lead to the birth of Romulus, and so forth. So being a child of Venus gives you immediate brownie points just like being a child of Jupiter is.
Never has being a child of Venus been such a blessing or curse. On one hand, you’re given a ton of advantages starting in Camp Jupiter, but at the same time, you’re going to have to use your appearance as your armour, using your charms to protect yourself and fight back in the world of politics, and so forth. Like being a child of Jupiter, the Romans have a ton of expectations on you for enforcing and maintaining Roman values, and you being a child of Venus, the ancestress of Rome itself?
Yeah, you have a lot on your plate. It doesn’t help once there’s word of a child of Venus and basically all the cohorts will do what is required to get you in, even if it means lying on your reference letter and who is your sponsor. With the first and second cohort being the common perpetrators to maintain their hierarchy and having a child of Venus within their ranks only boosts it.
While the children of Aphrodite are less compelled to fight, as a child of Venus, you’re more pushed to fight. While both can fight, you have to fight alongside your other legionnaires to maintain morale and more often then not, you’re told to lead.
If you’re a good actor, you’re going to be using that your advantage however you want. Be careful in the senate though, Julius Caesar claimed Venus as his mother as well, and we all know how he died on the Ides of March.
However, love is universal so there's not too much of a difference in comparison and it's general less restricting.
Hello, a question: if there was a child of Atalanta, how would you imagine her/him, or how would Artemis and the hunters react upon learning about this, if this child was a boy, perhaps 8/10 years old?
Well, I was expecting someone send me something about Greek Heroes, so here we go-
It'll be definitely something since what people forget to mention that Atlanta's fate when her husband when Hippomenes neglected to pay Aphrodite her dues after she helped him get married to Atalanta, and were turned into lions after Aphrodite made them have sex in the sacred precinct of either Zeus, Rhea, or even Artemis herself and the offended deity turned both Atlanta and Hippomenes into lions.
So if Atalanta is still around as some immortal lion or immortal half-lion, half-human being ish form, I can only imagine the child of Atalanta having lion genetics. Now whether the child of Atalanta is half-lion and half-human, or just a full lion, will affect how Artemis and her hunters see them.
Since Atalanta was responsible for killing the Calydonian Boar, I can imagine Artemis both being a bit peeved that she killed the boar she sent in retribution at King Oineus forgot about her when he was honouring the gods, but probably respects her for her being the only female hunter to do it.
So if the child of Atalanta is human in form or a were-lion, there might be some respect in lineage for the child of Atalanta for coming from one of her supposed favoured mortals, especially as a capable female hunter. I feel like this would be favourable especially towards the child of Atalanta if they were born as a daughter. However, as a son of Atalanta, its less so but still respected-
But I think it'll greatly affect her view towards them if it was Artemis was the one who turned Atalanta into a lion because of said-disrespect, since regardless it was Aphrodite or even Hippomenes fault for making Atlanta disrespected her temple by having sex in it, it was still done and that's a major no-no; especially when Artemis is a Virgin goddess. Its a cold turn towards the child of Atalanta definitely.
If they were a daughter of Atalanta and still young as you said between 8-10 years old, Artemis is less compelled and more welcome to accepting them as a huntress, since their lineage is still reputable and Artemis is the protector of girls until marriage*. Could be a nice way to make up or prove to Artemis that what Atalanta did wasn't intentional kind of deal as well.
(*Marriage: I say until marriage but that's old written term until they lose their maidenhood)
If its a Son of Atalanta, I don't think Artemis would give the child of Atalanta much of a glance and tells them to leave with the only mercy and warning because Atalanta was once Artemis's favourite but also for the crimes she committed against her.
The fact the son of Atalanta is 8-10 years old would help because technically, Artemis is still obligated to protect him, even if protector of young boys is Apollo's job. Which I think either the son of Atalanta is either given two options: leave them forever be and never seek their attention OR be turned into a girl; much like the compromise Artemis did to Siproites.
If the child of Atalanta is a lion, I think either way, male or female, Artemis would 'capture' the child of Atalanta as their own animal pet along with the wolves as tribute because their mother lioness is Atalanta and lions are sacred animals of Rhea.
(There's also a stretch with the lion connection with the moon as the Nemean lion is a child of Selene)
Imagine chiron, dionysus (or maybe even aphrodite for extra drama) calling piper and drew after leaving camp to come get the twisted child of aphrodite. How do you think things will go down?
oh gosh, that's tough. Good thing I had been keeping this in mind when writing all the past Twisted!Child of Aphrodite this entire time-
I think I'll start with Drew cause she's not going to take that long.
I don't think it'll go very well because while I like to say the Twisted!Child of Aphrodite' and their Charmspeaking powers would be like Drew but worse and more twisted? the Twisted!Child of Aphrodite is much more crueler than Drew and while they may seem similar from afar, Drew's use of her Charmspeaking powers and her overall character is "Shallow". Not just about love, but to also others in general.
So I don't think Drew would be able to go toe to toe with the Twisted!Child of Aphrodite for not even a long time. And not to mention, Drew probably has very minimal experience facing others directly and being challenged.
Plus if we use emotional depth as power and fuel for Charmspeaking powers, Drew's shallowness and lack of emotional depth and understanding wouldn't be able to hold a candle to the Twisted nature of her half-sibling, espescially if we go off that they became twisted because of their trauma and their experience with love and emotions.
Hence why the Twisted! child of Aphrodite is Twisted.
Piper is probably the closest match to go toe to toe with the Twisted!Child of Aphrodite. There could be some trouble if we're talking the Piper Mclean just a little bit after the Heroes of Olympus events since she had her powers refined and being actively used during the 7's entire quest and everything. We also see her charmspeaking powers growing in strength and being able to effect gods and higher beings, regardless how long the effects last for.
At the very least, the Twisted!Child of Aphrodite wouldn't affect Piper with their own Charmspeaking powers, and Piper may able to neutralize their commands with her own if there were others around. More so when Jason and Piper were still in a relationship with each other and they were still in love.
However, post-Trials of Apollo? The Twisted!Child of Aphrodite may not actually stand a chance because Piper's has experienced lost love, despairing love, and mourning, and reawakened love with her girlfriend after Jason's breakup and death.
With all of Piper's experience and with everything she went through, Piper is stronger and developed mentally and emotionally, so the Twisted! Child of Aphrodite's Charmspeaking powers can be easily disabled and they could be affected by Piper's Charmspeaking powers which she could use to disable the Twisted!Child of Aphrodite to make them stand down.
Though I wouldn't say Piper can use her Charmspeaking powers to pernamentaly disable the Twisted! Child of Aphrodite or change them since that's beyond Piper's ability as a demigod conceptually, and Piper doesn't struck me as a person to do such a thing either to change a person's entire psyche.
From there it's up to Chiron, Dionysus, and even Aphrodite what they'll do for the Twisted!Child of Aphrodite but all I can say if it led up to this point, it's much less then saving or forgiving the Twisted! Child of Aphrodite and deciding their fate.
What do you think it would be like for a child of aphrodite to have potent powers but a very skewed and twisted view of love, like seeing love as a way to control people because as they've been taught love makes people weak and causing them to harness some of the darker and more cruel aspects of their mothers power. Also, how do you think aphrodite would react to figuring out they use their powers that way?
a/n: I maaaay have rambled off with this so forgive me if it seems to run off a little bit. Tried my best and hope it gave some ideas or something to go off of. Hope you enjoyed this and have a nice day!
I mean we sort of got a peek at what this would be like in Drew Tanaka with her own power of charmspeaking where she uses her charmspeaking powers to control her siblings (and probably many other victims) to her own whims, and based on my own interpretation of Drew’s reaction towards Silena, she does give off the impression where (true) love is a weakness and love and beauty is something not everyone have, and those who do have it are ‘special’ hence her shallowness and rudeness.
So going off from that, I’m going to assume that the twisted child of Aphrodite has a really strong charmspeaking power, and is considerably beautiful/handsome; the stuff of where their beauty would/could entice war over them alone (think of Helen), and would use love and their beauty as a tool, weapon to their advantages.
I can see with all of these, they did try to seek out authentic forms of love but because of their environment, they received shallow love themselves, love towards their outward selves then themselves as a person, and being able to get scott free with so many things with little to no consequences with many things.
So they began to view love as nothing but something that fools believe in, to be blinded in, and that makes them weak and malleable to their whims and desires, making them do things to their command because “But didn’t you say love me right? You would do anything for me because you love me right?” and any rebuttal would only reaffirm the child of Aphrodite’s POV that love is twisted and fake, that they’re the ones in the wrong, and they were never truthful; which leads to a lot of manipulation and gaslightling.
An example I can think of is Miss Heed from Villaino(u)s, Boa Hancock from One Piece if you make it more twisted, the Star Sapphire Corps, Queen Bee or Poison Ivy from DC comics, C.C from Code Geass, etc-
It also makes more sense if their other, mortal parent knew Aphrodite was well, Aphrodite herself, it would lead to them with an inflated self because the goddess of Love and Beauty fell in love with them! But then became shocked when Aphrodite didn’t stick around or anything like that, so they believed Aphrodite used love to control them and made people weak like they once were, and it just keeps spiraling.
(Before you say that Aphrodite may not reveal themselves to her lover as a goddess, there is a chance she would’ve if yo remember how she talked to Piper about Tristan and how his mind was fragile, and she made the deliberate conscious effort not to reveal herself for him.)
In a sense, they’re not wrong because in actual Greek mythology Aphrodite is both loving and motherly but also fickle and temperamental, and many things were done at her own whim. To least a few: Aphrodite being the cause for the War of Troy with her kidnapping Helen for Paris; Aphrodite being jealous of Psyche for her worshipping of her beauty and with her son Eros; and the amount of people Aphrodite made fall in love with others for one reason or another).
So in a sense the Twisted Child of Aphrodite represents the other side of Aphrodite’s nature as a love goddess, and in general the other kind of love. The darker, unhealthier, side of Love basically. This is furthered by their surrounding environment that love makes people and others pliable and at your mercy, so why not take advantage of it?
As for Aphrodite’s reaction, well, if we’re going off solely off PJO’s Aphrodite or at the point of time that Aphrodite is like, she probably disproves of the child of Aphrodite’s way of viewing love but then again, it is a sort of consequence of love and Aphrodite has done it herself; it's probably more disapproving the method (whether its not right or simply not as effective) than the actual concept of it.
I can see her not liking it because it’s causing problems which reflect badly on Aphrodite and may be getting out of hand, which may only motivate her to put things in place to have it addressed. Otherwise, she’s pretty hands off.
