"We should keep moving," Shimi says dryly as he stands, gaze crossing the deserted landscape ahead. The silence is eerie, never a good sign. There was always silence before chaos, peace before the attack. A breeze ruffles xyr curls as xe squints off towards the horizon and back again. A short hum as xe unscrews the cap on xyr canteen, takes a long sip and then passes it towards Leo.

Lavender hues land on her, eyeing her carefully to assess how prepared she was for further travel. She looked...worn. Perhaps they should make quick work of finding shelter for now. They extend an arm, pointing a finger toward a withered house through the dust-filled air.

"That's our best bet for shelter before the next storm," they say and then look to her again. They adjust their bag on their shoulder, pull up a scarf to cover their airways as the breeze picks up a bit. "Think you can make it?"
