Who are YOU?

Michael Dawson-Cooper was eighteen years old when everything went to shit. Right about to graduate, can you believe that? He had one foot out the door of King County Georgia, only to be dragged back by 100 undead hands. Sucks. He was never one for people, dead or alive, but when he prayed to the almighty he'd never have to talk to his classmates ever again he didn't mean he wanted them all to become reanimated corpses with taste for human flesh.

What do you actually DO?

Mick is like one of those incredibly excessive, performative-ass Swiss army knives. You CAN probably use him to solve every problem you've ever had. If you can figure out how to actually use it without getting yourself hurt. In other words; jack of all trades, master of fuck knows. Though bullshit aside, recently my main jobs within the group have been to hunt, scavenge and cook with Daryl or Glenn.

Where are we?

After an entire winter of wandering, fighting for our lives, Rick found us a prison. We arrived yesterday. It's not visually appealing but it looks like it could be the safest place we've seen yet.

covid happened a few years pre-outbreak and i lost my smell lol. so i can't smell walkers or daryl's bo. hooray!

i carry a bottle of hot sauce in my backpack AT ALL TIMES.

i have a pet horse who i love dearly. her name is bonnie. she is no longer with us in the physical realm but she is with me in spirit 💔

when the outbreak happened i became a minor (major...) klepto and stole a bunch of good quality hiking gear. not because i knew what i was looking for but because i wouldn't wear anything ugly

i lied that i got my driver's license so joel would let me drive, but really i failed my test because i had "unnecessary amounts of road rage." but there's no traffic when everyone is dead so there's no one for me to rage at!

i sleep in a hammock up in the trees every night. it's more comfortable than you'd think and i've only fallen twice 😊

i keep my nails long and in a sharp almond shape. stylish and can save me from harm in a pinch!

i wear sundresses when it's warm. impractical? maybe, but at least it flows gracefully as i run from walkers

CIRCA. 2149 . . . Before the Ark, we only had one planet. One way to live. One chance to get it right. And we failed. Those who came before us fought wars with weapons they could never control, and it seems the Ark is following suit. Sending 100 teenagers down to the Earth without knowing if it was suitable to sustain human life was the exact reason humans cast themselves out in the first place. A selfishness from authority that seemed almost innate. Regardless, the council decided, and sending us down to Earth only means one thing.

We will never return to space again.

So. . . may we meet again.

WHATS IN MY BAG. . . . The Ark wasn’t completely cruel when they sent us down. Each prisoner was given a bag and choices of what they wanted inside after we completed Pike’s survival class. In my bag, I only put what I thought was necessary. A tent, a walkie talkie I’m sure they gave others, a rope in case of…well, a water bottle, a knife, a med kit, a lighter, a compass because I’m terrible with directions, and of course, my headphones. Only the best songs on this thing and best part is— it’s infinite. Any song any time whenever I’d like, just don’t tell anyone else, they might start asking how it works. If Pike believed a student wasn’t responsible enough to receive a bag, they’d go down with nothing.

Hell of a teacher if you ask me.

MY CLOSET CLOTHES. . . . Any clothes not on your back or brought in your bag are taken from the dead— grounders included. Jesus, did any bombs miss a clothing store so we stop the grave robberies? Seriously, it’s not fun by any means, well, for me it’s not. Everyone else seems hungry to get out of the same clothes they’ve been wearing for…however long we’ve been down here. Honestly, you try tracking the days and nights but there’s too much always going on to really care. Hopefully when more people come down from the Ark, I can finally walk on solid ground. I swear I’m getting athletes foot.

FINAL CHAPTER. . . . A moodboard for myself. Any previous knowledge of Earth before the bombs is practically useless, but I can only hope there’s other sensible people that are apart of the hundred. The girl I sat next to on the drop ship, her name is Octavia. I hope Octavia has some kind of skill or willingness to learn cause I can’t say the same for everyone else.
