I don't know about y'all, but I am tired of supporting these insensitive corporations. And, I'm tired of all the Non People of Color saying that these ads are not rasict. Clearly it's not racist to them, because they are not being affected by them. They can never understand the trauma behind these images. We see the racism right away, while they make excuses for these companies. And, most of the models for these companies are not black unless they are pushing a product that's not good for us. They throw a black face in here and there just to appease us. Look at the fast food ads...they make sure we're cooning for their posionous food. They don't respect us or our culture. I am tired of people running out and breaking their neck for items like Jordan's or Red Bottoms and then can't even afford to keep a cell phone on. These people are capitalizing off us and and they are laughing all the way to the banks. Don't think they're not calling us stupid monkeys or worse. Every chance they get, they're reminding us. They went from watermelons to fried chicken to monkeys. They are always finding ways to mock us. The monkey depiction works for them because they know they're really striking a nerve and it cuts deep. They're not sorry and this won't be the last time we see something like this. I can see them now in the boardroom smirking as the ad is being reviewed. They know what the hell they are doing. It hurts every time and they know it.
