So let me get this straight. In order to change my terrible high school apple ID password I need to answer questions that I never set in the first place and therefor do not know the answers to. In order to change the questions I need to get an email to my recovery mail box, which has been closed for 5 years with no way to reopen, instead of just emailing my main mail box, the one my ID is actually connected to. The only way to change my recovery email address is to answer the questions I never set and don't know the answers to.

This is truly a delight. This is what great user experience is.

How To Play Japanese Mobile Games On iOS Without Making A New Apple ID Or Downloading Third Party Software

Hey guys! I found this quick and easy trick after installing the new Bungou Stray Dogs: Mayoi mobile game and being unable to download the first update due to the different App Stores.

Due to changes in Apple and iTunes features with the latest updates, all other tutorials one may have used to get a Japanese Apple account before now are completely invalid - I know, I’ve been trying all day lmao This method worked really well for me and I’m able to get back into the game, so I hope it works just as well for you!

Please Note that this is an iOS only method and I personally have no experience with any other mobile OS, so I’ll be unable to help you further. I’m very sorry about that.

Let’s Get Started~

First, go into your Apple Account settings through the App Store (by clicking on your display picture at the top right corner of the screen.)

Choose the Change Country/Region option and choose it again on the next screen. (Ignore the message that tells you you’ll have to add in an extra payment option).

Scroll down the list of countries and choose Japan, then Agree to the Terms and Conditions shown on the next screen. You’ll then be taken here:

(Please Note that there will be slight differences in the screens as I’ve taken screenshots of the UK information form, but the information I have provided is all that you need to proceed)

This is very important: Click ‘NONE’ under the payment method options to avoid being prompted to add information for a valid Japanese credit or debit card.

After that, scroll down and fill out the billing address form. You can’t progress until you fill out this form, so you need to put in “realistic” information coinciding with a random area in Japan for it to authenticate properly. Don’t worry about this form being for Billing, you won’t be asked for any personal or incriminating details since you have chosen NONE.

To save some time, here is the information I entered into the form (and it worked):

Street: Nishishinjuku 6-12-6

Shinjuku-ku

Tokyo

Drop down box: Hokkaido

Post Code: 160-0023

Phone: [phone]

Click ‘Next’ and your profile will be set up with the Japanese information. You will now be able to access the Japanese store and perform necessary updates.

If you wish, you can change your original details back the way they were for peace of mind (you will have to anyway to update any non-Japanese apps), but you will have to do this method again if your Japanese games require another update.

PLEASE NOTE that you MAY be able to choose PayPal as a payment option above, if you really want to be able to purchase in-app features. I haven’t tried this option but I imagine that since billing address and payment options are included in your PayPal, you won’t have to put in any of the address information.

The NONE option is the easiest way, and I’m not sure if there would be any authentication problems if the card and address details associated with the PayPal account aren’t correct for a Japanese account transaction.

Catch 22 mit dem Apple Store

Wir haben in der Firma für einige Tage einen Gast aus Amerika. Heute morgen hat leider sein iPhone den Geist aufgegeben. Der Apple Store ist nicht weit vom Büro entfernt. Es empfiehlt sich allerdings, dort einen Termin zu vereinbaren, um Wartezeiten zu vermeiden.

Die Terminbuchung erfolgt online und man muss dazu seine Apple-ID eingeben. Die hat der Gast auch parat, allerdings verlangt Apple besondere Sicherheitsmaßnahmen, da er sich plötzlich von einem anderen Kontinent anmelden will und mit einem anderen Gerät als sonst. “Please enter the verification code sent to your phone.” Damit würde dieser Code aber genau auf dem Telefon landen, das momentan nicht reagiert und um dessen Reparatur es geht.

Wenig später gelingt es allerdings, per Chat einen Termin zu vereinbaren. Im Store wird das iPhone offiziell für tot erklärt. Kurzfristiger Ersatz wäre zu teuer und so müssen wir dem Gast für die Dauer seines Aufenthalts ein anderes Gerät leihen.

PriPuz HELP!!! Lost my account!

SUMMARY: For some reason I can’t update PriPuz due to disabled Apple ID and I don’t know what to do to keep playing PriPuz with my current data, saving etc. Hey there, guys. I’m dealing with a major problem which I really can’t solve so I’m desperately asking for your help... I have tried everything I could so far but didn’t manage to solve anything. So, as many non-Japanese players out there, I have two Apple IDs, a main one and a Japanese one I use to play PriPuz and to install updates. It’s something a lot of people do, Love Live players, Enstars players etc. The other day I went to update PriPuz in order to play the game, so I logged in (with my correct password) and even though I could log in normally, no matter how many times I tried to update the app this massage appeared.

So, I don’t speak Japanese, but Google translates the message as “Your Apple ID has been disabled”. I have no idea how this happened and I have no idea what to do in order to enable my Apple ID again. Apple Support suggests that once I change my password or security questions, the Apple ID should automatically activate again. I changed my password three times and the security questions two times. I am able to log in normally and do all the changes I want to my profile settings, but still every time I try to update PriPuz the same message pops up. I have tried updating the app both through iPhone (via AppStore) and by PC (via iTunes) and the same message always pops out. I don’t know what else to do, plus I don’t speak Japanese and everything is twice as complicated... What should I do? Is it possible to re-enable my Apple ID and update PriPuz? Should I do a third Apple ID and re-download PriPuz? But how do I transfer my data? How can I get my account back? Is there any transfer code policy or something? What is the best solution? I REALLY don’t wanna lose my PriPuz saving, I had some rare cards and my rank was quite high for a new player... If you’re a player you must imagine how bad the idea of losing all your savings feels... I’m honestly so so desperate. Please help me if you can! Thanks in advance to everyone.
