Petnames Apo Would Call The Various People I Ship Her With (& Vice Versa)

(in a world where she was actually in a relationship with them)

because Apo is lovergirl supreme and also the Queen of petnames <3

some of these are normal and some of them are simply the chaotic whims of my wonderful brain

yes you absolutely can use these for fic writing/etc

Things Apo Calls People:

Cherri

Starting off canon! Apo calls Cherri "beloved", "love" and "my lady" in the series, but I think we should add "dear", "dearest", “blossom”/“my blossom” and of course, "sunshine" for maximum Gay Emotional Damage

Pyro

I'm thinking Pyro would get "sweetness" and "pretty boy" (also "pretty girl" if we wanted to get fun with it) and the good ol fashioned "puddin'"

I'm also strangely fond of "cygnet" (a cygnet is a baby swan. btw) because it's cute and also something something the ugly duckling was never an ugly duckling it was a swan being judged by the standards of ducks. you get it

Legs

In my heart, Legs really likes petnames. He'd never tell you that though, because of The Guilt and masculine sterotypes but also mostly The Guilt

anyway Apo calls him "honey" and "darling" and "sugar" and “pretty baby” and “peaches”

they are so cutes

Abolish

I think these two would be a “no petnames” couple for a bit and then suddenly a switch gets flicked and Abolish starts getting hit with “pretty boy” and “little prince”/“my prince” and “pretty baby” and sometimes “raven”/“my raven”

Shelby

these two are absolutely a case of “princess” (derogatory) to “princess” (sexually charged). I know this in my heart

Shelby also gets “bunny”, “sugarplum” and sometimes teasingly “peanut”

Avid

Apo calls him “princess” and “sweet pea” and sometimes “angelface” or “ducky”

Drift

Drift gets “little prince”/“my prince” etc and “pumpkin” and “darling” and “lovebug”

Cleo

I think Apo would jokingly call them “sugar tits” lmao—

but also “petal” and “Cupid” and “love”/“my love”

Martyn

well she still definitely calls him “rich boy”—but also “baby boy” and “pretty boy” and sometimes just “my boy”

she also calls him an asshole. affectionately

Pearl

Pearl gets “rose”/“my rose”

Things Apo Gets Called:

Cherri

Cherri calls Apo “baby” and “darling” and “honey” and “sweet thing” and sometimes “apple of my eye”/“apple” or “pigeon”!

Pyro

I think Pyro ends up calling her “rainstorm” or “coffee”/“coffecake”/“coffecakes” he’s a student. He likes coffee. Coffee=good=Apo

Legs

Legs calls her “sweetness” and “pet” and “angel” <3

Abolish

Abolish rarely uses petnames, however he sometimes calls her “dove”

Shelby

…I think Shelby would unironically call her “snookums” and “pookie”(Apo gets flustered but doesn’t mind)

Shelby also calls her “boo”/“my boo” and “baby/my baby”!

Avid

Avid’s chosen petnames are “sweet potato” and “kitty cat” and “apple blossom”

Drift

Drift doesn’t use petnames for a while, but eventually starts calling them “my lady”/“m’lady” and even more eventually “pretty bird”/“pretty girl”

Cleo

Cleo takes to calling Apo “Apple” and that is…about it

(secret bonus Cleo starts calling her kitten)

Martyn

“Miss Militia”/“Lady Militia” ofc but also “m’lady” and sometimes jokingly “ma’am”

also “babe” sometimes

Pearl

Pearl uses “my lovely” and “sweet girl” <3

• Kinda feels like a less doomed bloodletting to me. If they had had more of a relationship from the start or if Pyro had put his trust in Legs with the whole cure thing I think they could have been really healing to eachother (pun intended). Like Pyro might have snapped out of it if he had had someone who told him that he wasn't a monster and maybe he could have gotten Legs to see some good in himself too. Just realized these two freaks are gonna live rent free in my head now and there aren't even a lot of fics about them. So please let them win so people write about them more. I need this for my sanity
