Also the two Vampire hunters being a hunting duo that also dates each other would be fun. • I HAVE TO GIVE AVIDREGRET PROPAGANDA because they make so much sense to me. Haphazard helper of a monster hunter x capable monster hunter!!!!!!!!! they fit together so nicely!!! blabbermouth x listener. high strung x king idgafer. I like thinking of a world where abolish is the authority figure that avid is down bad for because it is so easy to imagine. avid is attracted to authority because he wants someone to make him feel safe, and early on if he recognized abolish as the intimidating vampire hunter then he would have been HEAD OVER HEELSSSSSSSS. plus elle replacement number 5 baby. it just makes sense to me! Also untapped evil route post betrayal vampire avid x abolish. avid would taunt him relentlessly saying he's gonna keep abolish as a pet and then get so so so scared and cry and run away when abolish nearly kills him with like zero effort. awwww they're playing ^^ ummmm idk maybe when avid revives they make out sloppy style.

I don’t ship them romantically but I loved their interactions in ep7 and ep8. Can see them being extremely weird about each other, especially after Legs turned Abolish.

legs being the only person abolish lets his guard down around just for him to fucking DIE,, ough

copying and pasting most of this from my previous posts about them

1.) abolish is the reason why the relationship is weird. legundo is trying to avoid being any amount of creepy or odd towards abolish while abolish is saying "you should punch me again." with a completely blank expression 2.) age gap yaoi. legundo looking in the mirror at himself like "am i weird? im dating someone half my age" while abolish is smiling and giggling alone in his room thinking about making out with that old man. legundo feeling nuclear amounts of guilt about everything FOREVER 3.) TOXIC YAOI. they respect each others skills and intelligence while also completely disagreeing about fundamental aspects of their ideology. theyre the only people they would ever be remotely vulnerable around but also the last people they would want to seem weak towards for fear of it being used against them, for fear of being judged by each other. first base is using each other to destroy yourselves, fifteenth base is having an actual conversation abolish needs to save legundo from owen. get him OUT of that terrible toxic relationship. veylocke the fuck in abolish GET LEGUNDO OUT OF THERE 4.) legundo is one of the people abolish cares about and trusts the most out of literally anyone in oakhurst, and vice versa. they are some of the only competent mfs there and they work together incredibly well 5.) do you think abolish felt it when legundo died. do you think he understood how legundo felt in his final moments. do you think he felt the sun on legundos skin before the closest person to him was gone forever. do you think he, even for a moment, wished hed focused on something other than his work just once so maybe, just maybe, legundo wouldve made it out alive. do you think he cried for the first time in years. do you think that even after being cured, he still feels like a piece of him is forever missing?

legundo would probably see a younger version of himself in abolish

Something something even ground something something letting the other take the lead. There's a mirror of a past self one way and a rare person worth keeping in the loop the other way. They're both soldiers and both capable of so much violence. It's entirely neutral to one and the worst thing to the other. They both prefer peace all the same.

All good ships are involve both of them disliking the military The fuck up soldier x the model soldier is a great combo United by gallows humour, guilt, occasional silliness and the want to kill Scott Goldsmith, what else could you want?

Legs the model soldier, the one who got a medal for his crimes. Apo the fuck up, who’s scared of blood and so unsuited for this. They both got drafted. They care so much about others, and that care gets systematically chewed up and spat on. They both hate Scott Goldsmith. They were both wronged by Owen. They are both genuinely dangerous people. Legs was the first human to know about Apo’s vampirism. They were the only vampires loyal to Oakhurst in the end. They’ll both go out on their own terms. Legs was willing to give up everything he had and so was Apo but Apo had a line they wouldn’t cross. 10:1. 10:1. 10.1. They never had a one-on-one conversation. They killed a guy together and thought they’d done it permanently. They refused to take the credit for his final death. They both have a distaste for violence, but are willing to commute it when necessary. Neither of them became the monster others thought or wanted them to be: Owen couldn’t make Legs a weapon. Apo chose mercy even at her worst.

They were both involved in some sort of military stuff, it just makes sense to me, don't ask questions

it is vitally important that you understand that Apo and Legs have the same exact sense of humor

they both have this wonderful habit of making morbid jokes that frequently land wrong and I need them to combine this power to horrify everyone else

bonus points since the Doc’s pattern of occasionally fumbling his words fits with Apo’s -3 charisma

Starting off canon! Apo calls Cherri "beloved", "love" and "my lady" in the series, but I think we should add "dear", "dearest", “blossom”/“my blossom” and of course, "sunshine" for maximum Gay Emotional Damage

Pyro

I'm thinking Pyro would get "sweetness" and "pretty boy" (also "pretty girl" if we wanted to get fun with it) and the good ol fashioned "puddin'"

I'm also strangely fond of "cygnet" (a cygnet is a baby swan. btw) because it's cute and also something something the ugly duckling was never an ugly duckling it was a swan being judged by the standards of ducks. you get it

Legs

In my heart, Legs really likes petnames. He'd never tell you that though, because of The Guilt and masculine sterotypes but also mostly The Guilt

anyway Apo calls him "honey" and "darling" and "sugar" and “pretty baby” and “peaches”

I think these two would be a “no petnames” couple for a bit and then suddenly a switch gets flicked and Abolish starts getting hit with “pretty boy” and “little prince”/“my prince” and “pretty baby” and sometimes “raven”/“my raven”

Shelby

these two are absolutely a case of “princess” (derogatory) to “princess” (sexually charged). I know this in my heart

Shelby also gets “bunny”, “sugarplum” and sometimes teasingly “peanut”

Avid

Apo calls him “princess” and “sweet pea” and sometimes “angelface” or “ducky”

Drift

Drift gets “little prince”/“my prince” etc and “pumpkin” and “darling” and “lovebug”

I think Apo would jokingly call them “sugar tits” lmao—

like, oh, there’s something/someone evil trying to manipulate you and the people you care about?
