the first couple times you do it he doesn't really notice. he isn't the most observant individual sometimes

but when he does pick up on it, he finds himself hesitating sometimes.

he approaches you at a gen and is seconds away from grabbing you. You turn around with your eyebrows raised expectantly. he glances away and raises his eyebrows expectantly in return even though you can't see it

after a few moments he grabs you anyway as to not be punished by the entity

if you're in a chase and you just turn around and start chatting, he'll probably give a couple one word answers or grunts. having a conversation with you in front of the survivors is a no-no

since evan has been in the fog the longest, he's practiced self control in trials. while the entities influence does give him some extra rage, he's perfectly capable of being merciful. he just. doesn't most of the time

that being said, he can't stop himself from hesitating EVERY SINGLE TIME you do whatever you do with no fear. he cannot. it's beyond his control

he's asked you countless times and the answer was either "idk lol" or "why not?"

Trapper has really warm skin! Maybe it’s the inflammation of all the metal embedded into his flesh or he’s just naturally warm, we’ll never know, but that man is a walking furnace. 

And he has big hands and they’re so good for hand holding. Especially because if he’s only focused on you; say you’re draped across his lap and he’s just casually holding your hand.
