Are we sure Kid Flash and Aqualad aren't best friends? They feel like best friends. Wally x Garth seem like a plausible ship, and it almost makes more sense than pairing Robin with either of them. Robin is the closest thing the Teen Titans have to Cyclops. Sure, Cyclops and Robin are capable field leaders, friends with their teammates. But they also read as way more studious and mature, often in ways that isolate them. And just to be honest: Cyclops is my favourite of the X-Men, so I'm really just looking for a character I can deeply relate to here. And either way, Kid Flash and Aqualad are practically always agreeing with each other, trading jokes and barbs back and forth with each other. They're not a popular ship, but these two together make an odd amount of sense to me.
