In which A-Zhanmon, Lan Zhanmon, Lan Wangjimon and Hanguang-Junmon are four levels of digievolution (Rookie, Champion, Ultimate and Mega) as much as A-Yingmon, Wei Yingmon, Wei Wuxianmon and Yiling Laozumon.
But the first time Wei Wuxianmon tried to evolv from Ultimate to Mega level, he got affected by a maliciuos virus, the Stygian Tiger Seal, and became Black Yiling Laozumon. No one seem able to compete with him, only Hanguang-Junmon, who rather tryies to find a way to purificate him.
Virus energy was too strong and Black Yiling Laozumon couldn’t bare it and went destroyed coming back to one of his rare basic evolution level: Xuanyumon.
Hanguang-Junmon at first didn’t recognize him ‘cause no one knew this basic state of him.
It took a long time for Xuanyumon to be able to digievol again but finally managed to reach his Wei Wuxianmon level.
Thanks to Hunguang-Junmon who protected him this time, the digievolution to Yiling Laozumon was purified.
They are know as mitological digimon, extremely powerful by their own, almost invincible when they DNA digievol into Wangxianmon
