Swee' Pea the Tarantula This is an older piece of mine, she is a thread holder with functioning spinnerets, and she is my sweet girl :) Under a UV she fluoresces! I made her for my college ceramics course, and she later won a Merit Award at our student exhibit! Thanks for the $50, Pea! My favorite feature is her glazed beady black eyes, the rest of her is acrylic paint sealed under varnish, except for her bright blue innards, which are also glazed! That glaze in particular is NOT food safe though.
