Day 357: Ace of Cups by Araidel

Title: Ace of Cups Author: Araidel Main Character(s): Kurt & Blaine Rating: M Status (As of date of post): WIP Summary: Blaine Anderson never expected that the Kurt Hummel, newest fashion designer to rise to fame, was the same Kurt Hummel whose name was scarred across his palm. But they were soul mates, destined and determined to be together even through photographers, tabloid gossip and rumours. Soulmate fic, GKM fill. Why I love it: A beautifully written soulmate!fic that once you start reading, it's very hard to quit! I love this story, it's got a bit of drama, but the main focus is just on the relationship between Kurt and Blaine, and how it grows from love at first sight to this really deep connection between the two of them. It's extremely well written, and I also love the side story of Nick and Jeff finding each other as well! It's so cute to hear Nick go on and on about how perfect Jeff is (and to know that Blaine and Kurt are doing the same thing... adorable!). Every character, no matter how minor, is just a wonderful addition to the story. For example, Cooper is written as he was on the show, full of terrible advice and self absorbedness (is that a word? Probably not..), but he adds this spark of humor to the story that is really fun and watching Blaine's embarrassment is always great as well! If you are looking for a great romantic fic, or just a really fantastic soulmate!fic, this is a perfect story that you need to read!!
