Viktor is selfish.

I am saying this as a gigantic Viktor fan, but I'm shocked I haven't seen anyone talk about this. Viktor is extremely selfish.

While I sob over the romance of it, like a lot- Viktor still doomed hundreds of timelines, killed thousands of millions of people just to feel loved. I know that is the major theme of the show, people doing horrible acts in the name of love but that doesn't change what he did.

He knows, if he never saved Jayce, if he let him die, if he never introduced him to magic, the devastating domino effect of everything we see in the show would never have happened. The stolen gemstones and the explosion that followed in the warehouse, war, the many lives lost to the glorious evolution, everything. Even in the timeline where piltover wins, many, many die. And yet, he puts it in motion because he needs someone to tell him he's loved. Heart wrenching, yes but selfish.

So I just noticed something.

I just saw this point from ArcaneDaily and noticed something in the Enemy by Imagine Dragon music video; you can see this clip.

Now look at the character on the right side.

You can see Ran (cannon name) and Feathers (not cannon name. Name is unknown). You can also see Deckard (the one who ends up working for Silco and fighting Vi and the gang in the ally way).

And of course Deckard.

They were all friends. They hanged out and goofed around together. They were friends. They also seem to be around the same age so they all were in their teens, which is weird cause Sevika doesn’t seem that older than Vi in act 2 and 3 so now I think Sevika is just slightly older than Vi in Act 1, which means she was probably 17-19 cause Vi is 16-18 in act 1 (vi age was confirmed on twitter. Apologies, I don’t have the twitter link on hand).

This is mine blowing to me. They were friends. Sevika is only slightly older than Vi. They all knew each other.. they knew powder as powder before she was jinx. My mind is fucking blown.

I can't stop thinking about the implication that Piltover just sort of assumes Jayce owns Viktor.

Viktor being caught by the enforcers at the blockade and Jayce needing to come and pick him up. Even though he's a Piltover citizen, they probably didn't care or believe him. They needed a trusted citizen to come and pick up his trouble maker so to speak.

Or after the incident in the council room. They just let Jayce run away with Viktors body. Not properly handled by paramedics or enforcers. They let Jayce take him away as a belonging. Not one stopped Jayce or questioned him when he kept Viktor in the hexcore cacoon thing. No one stepped in and went "Hey, that's a dead guy, give him some respect for a burial." They just let him do whatever tf he wants with his corpse.

I hate Piltover so much.
