The thing about JayVik is that they enable the shit out of each other, right? like a machine ratcheting up to a fever pitch
Like the hexite crystal where it stabilizes at higher frequencies because the oscillations balance each other out
But the kickback... Is WOOF. If one single thing gets pushed askew in that delicate balance...

So they intensify each other in ways that could be termed "okay they make each other WORSE" which is not necessarily UNTRUE
HOWEVER
It actually is far worse if they aren't together bc they're both INDIVIDUALLY also batshit and would be finding ways to do crazy mad scientist shit regardless and do indeed temper each other
