Okay, firstly, it should be stated that the arguments between the brothers will be brutal. They are going to fight and fight and fight over who gets to have you as their lover.
The four won’t even try to hide their affections or their arguments from you. This is gonna cause a whole lot of problems if you live with Sam and Dean, or even problems with Crowley and other angels. Because the archangels won’t shut the fuck up!
On the bright side even before you start dating them you are heavily protected and the probability of you getting hurt is very low. Heaven and Hell forbid you getting hurt, literally, whoever or whatever hurt you is getting their asses kicked in (and maybe even tortured).
Anyways, if you have the patience to wait till the boys get their shit together then they’ll eventually realize that if only one of them can’t have you then maybe all of them can, and they’ll ask you out all together.
It’ll be overly cliche and dramatic because all of them are hopeless romantics and have no real clue what they’re doing (except maybe Gabriel). There will be dinner and candles and suits and flowers and chocolates. It’s going to be messy. Each will try to cut the other off just to tell you first.
If you are impatient then you can confess, but for Chuck sake confess all at once. We don’t need to bring up the repercussions if you don’t.
Once you all set up some “rules” things go a bit smoother.
All of them want different Anniversaries because they all want their special day with you to themselves.
Gabriel chose April 20th, because he wants his two favorite days to be in the same month. Also 4/20 being your anniversary day is funny.
Raphael chose January 31st, because even if the weather is unpredictable it’s always good for being curled together.
Lucifer chose October 13th, because it’s spooky season and obviously that’s supposed to be his month. (And apparently there’s some connection to him and 13 he doesn't really know why tho)
Michael chose June 21st, because it’s the last day of spring and he wants to spend that beautiful day with you.
Raphael’s favorite thing to do with you is to read with you. He loves just sitting around each other and reading. He likes to lay his head in your lap and read, or you laying your head in his lap. His most favorite is to have you sitting in his lap as he reads to you. He may let you read to him but it’s very rare. When he is badly hurt bring him a book and cuddle with him.
Michael’s favorite thing to do with you is to have dinner, or lunch, or breakfast, or a picnic. He doesn’t need to eat, but he loves watching you cook and eat. He really likes the time you get to just sit and talk and enjoy each other. When he is really badly injured bring him some food, sit, and talk with him.
Lucifer’s favorite thing to do with you is literally anything, just don’t make him sit around and do nothing. He craves stimulation. If you’re the kind of person to go shopping he is great for it. He has a good eye and is always looking and touching things. He also really loves playing with your hair long or short, so if he has to sit down for a while put on some cartoons and let him mess with your hair. When he is really injured put on cartoons and cuddle or do some online shopping together.
Gabriel’s favorite thing to do with you is pull pranks. If you don’t like pulling pranks then he’s chill with you just watching him pull them. He just has more fun with it when you’re around. He also loves watching Youtube prank videos with you. He also really loves when you record some of the pranks he/you’ve done. The videos are great mementos and he really thinks they out beat the Youtube ones. When he is really injured just comfort him and remind him of the humor that is in the world (the prank videos really help with that).
Most dates are individual but there are occasions when you have group ones. These happen more on holidays than anything, because none of them can agree to split their time with you on them. Especially Valentines Day.
You have four partners now so your time to yourself is pretty low. However, communication is key. If you let them in to know how you think and feel they’ll do what they can to help you, even if it means giving you space.
Don’t get it twisted though. Alone time doesn’t include time with Dean, Sam, Crowley, or even Castiel. You once made a joke about Saturdays being for the boys while hanging out with TFW alone and know one knows how they heard or where they came from but the archangels crashed that party immediately.
Most of the time if they argue with each other you can break it up pretty easily. Threaten/promise cuddles or sexy time or even just say them arguing makes you feel upset/scare/uncomfortable and they’re dropping the fight.
Everyone is always shocked how when you walk in a room while they’re fighting they angels will just stop like a damn button was pressed.
Fights with you however they normally take each other's sides. Unless is something stupid going on. Either way you have very little landing in fights, but they rarely occur anyways so, whateves.
Despite all this leverage you have on them no one, not even Chuck or Amara, would use you against them.
Amara may not see the whole appeal of the world, but she understands love. She respects the love her nephews have for you, and she is so happy they have that. She would never take that from them.
Chuck doesn’t understand how you did it. It really just draws a blank on you. He didn’t make you specially for them, but despite all the other people the archangels have been with they say you’re the best thing ever. He’s glad they finally have something to bring them together. Something that really makes them a family, even if he couldn’t do it himself. Chuck really wants to find out what in his name has got them wrapped around your finger though.
Lucifer, Micheal, Gabriel, and Raphael wouldn’t change you for anyone. And trust me when they first developed crushes they tried to avert their own attention. So through thick and thin you’re stuck with these boys for the rest of eternity.
Okay so you’re Sam and Dean’s honorary little sister/brother/sibling. The archangels have been revived by Chuck and are at the bunker because Chuck said so. (He wants to make sure they’re not going to start another apocalypse before he lets them loose on the world.
They keep trying to get you to like them, each in their own way.
Gabriel likes giving you candy and little gifts. He’ll slip them under your pillow or in your bag or the pocket of your jeans. You’ll find them later and smile. He also includes you in pranks, so more often than not, the two of you will end up running from whoever you’ve played a prank on. Sometimes you’ll hide from them in storage rooms, seldom-used hallways, or closets. When you get hurt on hunts he’ll pepper your face with light kisses and hold your hand.
Lucifer makes suggestive comments and he’s always undressing you with his eyes but he has a soft side, too. He‘ll bring you coffee or tea in the morning. The two of you have weekly movie nights where you stay up late and show him all your favorite movies. Usually you’ll fall asleep half way through and he‘ll carry you back to your room and tuck you in. When you get hurt on hunts he gets stressed out and on high alert, ready to smite anything that might try to hurt you again.
Michael, having spent most of his life as a soldier, tends to avoid open displays of affection, but sometimes he’ll kiss the top of your head and every now and then he’ll tell you stories about heaven and making the stars. When you get hurt on hunts he will either find the thing that did it and start smiting or if it’s already dead he’ll pace restlessly.
Raphael is a total sweetheart. He is all about touch and loves to hug and cuddle you. Also he loves to braid your hair, usually in little braids that he secures with tiny little rubber bands in all colors of the rainbow. When you get hurt, while the others are overcome with emotions they aren’t used to, he goes into healer mode and heals you. Then he freaks out because all of the feelings hit him at once.
After a few times when you couldn’t sleep and sought them out to snuggle with, you all end up designating a room as the room you all sleep in, though you all technically still have your own rooms. Gabriel snaps the bed into a king size and despite the fact that none of them need to sleep, they all pile in with you.
Everything must be perfect for this man. There were time where you had to stop him from over working to much, you didn't want him to hurt himself or the baby.
Thought you would be the one to get pregnant but now here he is with a baby.
You still remember when he dragged you to go get room supplies for the baby. It would take hours just for him to pick a stuffed animal, but don't get me started with the blankets. If it was a girl the colors would be a nice rose pink, if a boy a nice baby blue.
He hates morning sickness. He would make you wait outside the door sense it's gross. But when he done he just wants to hold you.
This man when he has big craves. So you are cooking 24/7. With ever treat, meal he must have a tomato. Yes wired but don't Jude him cause that is what he fears you doing.
You would take him to a nice filed for him to get some fresh air and just to smell the flowers for him and the baby to to relax.
Foot cramps, back cramps, chest cramps, you are there.
When it was time to give birth it was chaos. Some of the goddess tried to take you out of the room if it might become to dangerous. But this man ordered for you to stay, but them taking you pout side wasn't going to keep you away anyway.
This man is crushing your hand screaming and even glared at you yelling, "You Did This To Me!".
It was a lot for everyone. When the baby was born they cleaned up the little one giving them to Ludociel.
You looked over seeing his hair everywhere some even sticking on his forehead from the sweat.
"They look as beautiful as you", you said as you got closer to Ludociel. You notice him getting sleepy as you took the baby from his hands only for him to stop you. "No I must make sure they will be okay" "We'll be right here me love get some rest you deserve it".
since you've been writing a lot of spn stuff- can i request something with hands, autumn, & raphael. if not its ok!!!
My lovely, it is more than okay, and it is my pleasure. I hope you enjoy!
Patient eyes regarded darkening skies, glancing surreptitiously for the first flickers of lightning, counting each second between one breath of thunder and the next. The heavens were dancing in the fading violets of the setting sun, twinkling with their robust bedazzlement of stars. But the creeping greys and navies drew ever nearer, an ominous formation promising devastation should its warnings not be heeded.
You took another sip of your drink, eyes slipping shut against the threat drawing nearer and nearer. Goose flesh rose on your arms as the barometric pressure continued to drop, electricity a near tangibility in the air.
Still, you paid no mind, rather distracted by the delightful mixture of warmed spices harmonizing on your tongue before steadily making their way to settle within the cockles of your heart.
The first hissing droplets of rain against the concrete made you pause, lowering your cup. Your eyes remained shut however, keenly listening to each huff of the wind, each furious growl of thunder. There was a righteous fury to this storm, rapidly centering itself around the small pavilion in which you had claimed temporary sanctuary.
A small irritation of your own began to swell, enough to remove the contentment from your lips, eyes opening to narrow slits as you beheld the chaos beyond the wooden structure.
Leaves formerly splattered in scarlets and golds and blazing siennas had been cast into murky waters, all vibrancy overwhelmed by the melancholic ferocity tossing them about in a whirlwind.
Soft illumination from antiquated lanterns was subdued to dimmed pallor, spectral shifts shimmering against near impenetrable shadow. Somewhere nearby, but beyond line of sight, a tree creaked as it succumbed to the wind, the echo lost to the relentless chaos of the storm.
Mild irritation grew into surging irascibility, cup set onto the wooden planks of the tabletop beneath you as you stood on the bench, devoid of any of the carefree optimism that had been so abundant earlier in the evening.
"You can cut the theatrics; I'm not going anywhere!"
Your words could have been nothing more than a bee's wing brushing against a flower petal, the shift of a spider's leg as it perfected another layer of its web; your proclamation was near unintelligible when faced with the terrible volume from the storm. But between the small shift in the direction of the wind and the answering roar of thunder- loudest of all- your confidence grew.
Resolute, you leapt from your post, striding to the edge of your shelter, a feral smile crossing your lips with bitter abandon, doing well to hide the first twists of anxiety deep within your gut.
You had worked so hard to create this confrontation, and now when presented with the grim reality of your circumstances, fear was worming its way through you, whispers from Panic tracing against your neck, her loathsome ally Doubt curling her fingers against your spine.
Determined, you ignored those annoying agents of Chaos, stepping forward into the deluge.
The first strike of lightning hit scarcely meters away, flash temporarily blinding you, crack deafening and shaking the ground beneath you. Reflexive instinct had you stumbling away, trying to shield yourself against the effects far too late.
When your vision faded from jaded blue and thistle-tinted spots, phantasmal remnants of staring down the fulmination, you were at last able to truly cast your gaze upon your companion.
Seething fury pooled around her, rage reflecting in the spark of her eyes. The shadow of a dozen wings played on the ground and in the canopy above you, shifting with each twist of the wind. Revulsion marred her features, the detestation eliciting a trace of contriteness deep within your chest.
“Tell me why I shouldn’t smite you here and now.”
The command was issued with all the potent magnificence of any Celestial, sparking trepidation deep within your soul. She towered over you, looming magnificence and vengeance mere moments from annihilation. Familiar blue danced in her eyes, a visceral reminder of how furious she truly was.
But you had picked up on the plea within her decree. Shrouded beneath epochs of steadfast detachment was someone who felt so deeply, so thoroughly, that they had concealed themselves eons ago beneath a stern exterior, beneath a visage of a calculating strategist and general. The image was so strong, so consuming, she scarcely seemed aware of it herself sometimes.
It was in those more intimate moments however when you began to read her, peering into the complexities of each mask she adorned.
And in this moment, it was clear to see that beneath her fury, beneath her scorn, there was a searing pain in every movement she was making; more than all else, Raphael felt you had betrayed her, and that single sting of knowledge was more than sufficient for your gesture of surrender.
"I'm sorry." Your placating tone did nothing to calm her, pulchritude somehow magnified through her scathing gaze.
Encouraged by her lack of reply however, you took a cautious step forward, continuing your explanation. "I knew going to him would hurt you, and I still did it. You have every right to be pissed at me."
"There are no words known to man in this world or the next to express-" There was a pause, a flicker of a scowl as she turned away from you, blue fading from her eyes as she surveyed the nearby trees. "You cut me deeply."
Perhaps it was some remnant of stubborn indignation, or perhaps it was the inability to keep the passing thought contained, but Amara-help-you, the bite passed through your lips before you could restrain yourself. "At least the feeling's mutual."
It was barely a breath, scarcely a coherent thought. Yet still she heard it, the words rippling through her wings as if she had been physically struck by them. Affronted gaze once more pinned you in place, the hairs along your nape rising in the face of thrumming electricity.
"How dare you."
She may have shouted or perhaps she had whispered; the hubris coating each syllable ate away at you, gnawing you in the ceaseless reminder that you were nothing compared to her.
It was a logic that for years you had abided by, treading carefully alongside the ragtag collection of Hunters and Hosts, guarding your words and thoughts from Monsters and Malevolents alike. But much like the gods and goddesses of old, you had come to discover the immortals who walked the Earth were just as flawed as Humanity; you refused to display even a fraction of your fear in the face of her fury.
"How dare I?"
Memories assaulted you, vivid recollections of the hours spent raiding any literature you could find, the desperate summons to lesser Celestials, to Demons, to Pagans, to Fey, those excruciating evenings spent yearning for her presence, praying and cursing and crying into the darkest hours of the night.
"How dare you!"
Fervent prayers had proved useless, anxieties tying into fears and a dark web of self-doubt, eating away at your spirit. Desperation had left you precariously balanced on a precipice that surely would have damned you, had not one of the Archangels- the most unexpected- come to guide you back home.
She had broken the oaths she made to you, disappearing from your side with no warning, no indications that she planned on returning.
Having offered her your very soul, your every heartbeat, every inch of devotion- You had expected more care than what had been provided.
Her touch had been so alien, her sweetest nothings oft hovering on the cusp of disturbing.
But her love had been clear, her adoration shining as she watched you create, fondness blinding whenever you were lost in debate. She gave no indication of discontent, the warmongering visage that she brazenly wore crumbling to that of the Healer- curious, warm, and so full of life and light and hope and love that you could scarcely breathe around her.
You had had no doubts of her affections, but her abandonment-
Moisture stung your eyes, the yearning for those halcyon days depleting whatever pride you had been trying to maintain. Ferocity in your gaze, yet once more you turned to face her. "You abandoned me, Raphael."
Your words sparked no form of reaction within her, nothing beyond the roiling rage radiating within her burnished orifices. "And still, you dared t-"
"I did what I had to!" You spared her no mercy, once again stepping nearer, interrupting her condemnation before it could be truly vocalized. "We- I needed you."
There was a flash of realization, so brief and sudden that had you not known her so well- not known by your own heartbeat the rhythm of her Grace, not known by memory the very slope of her eyes, not known by your very spirit the sensibilities within her- you surely would have missed the remorse reflecting in her eyes.
"I needed you, Ra'phael. And you weren’t there.”
The storm continued to rage all around you, fierce gale tossing loose twigs and leaves and rubbish from the nearest bins into a wall of relentless fury.
Another flash of lightning electrified the air, the shadow of her wings nearly intimidating with their breadth. But you were long past the point of fear, beyond coercion. The very starlight that shimmered through her veins was as intimately familiar to you as the callouses on your own hands, and despite the severity of the storm around you-
Not a drop of water had reached you, and only a few stray whispers of wind teased your eyelashes.
For how angry you were, a sliver of hope embedded itself into your heart, a yearning to move past your own damnable pride now that you finally had her attention again.
Her next words however, a low undercurrent of tension that echoed deep in your bones, forcefully smothered the flicker before it could fully begin to burn.
“You forget your place, Oracle. I am not some pet,” she spat out, hauteur coating each syllable, grinding against your resolve.
Raphael’s scowl, bitter expression coated in disdain, ate at your confidence, making you feel all that more insignificant in her presence. “I am the Wind and Skies. I am Majesty and Divinity; you are nothing more than an exiguous assemblage of quintessence.”
The intensity of her proclamation- searing lightning, sharp tempest- wedged itself into your chest, corporeal reaction just as palpable as it would have been had she chosen instead to drive her halberd directly into your heart.
This was not the being who had whispered stories of Creation into the pale hours of the morning, not the begrudging ally you had welcomed with equal wariness, the entity who you had come to see as so much more than a Primordial Agent of God. She used to smile for you, laughed with you.
Aggrieved and enduring what felt a betrayal, your arms folded together in an attempt to shield yourself from further agony. Turning away from her, you nearly missed the transition in her expression, almost missed the pain in her own eyes.
It was scarcely a flicker, but it was enough to give you pause, eyes narrowing in accusatory suspicion as she once more began to speak.
“I have one final question for you, Oracle.”
You had barely acknowledged her approach until she was standing right in front of you, wings folding away into their own stratum, features vulnerable in a way you had never seen before. She was fully unguarded, all traces of anger fallen from her frame, the crisp autumn air teasing loose strands of her hair.
But it was her eyes- Timeless, boundless, beguiling in ways you could never even hope to describe- Her eyes drew you in, weaving into your curiousity, tugging so slightly at the tiniest shred of faith you had stubbornly clung to, hope having refused to retreat entirely.
“How is it that someone so infinitesimal has so thoroughly ripped my plenary existence asunder?”
Many of her English expressions were significantly outdated, but it was a rarity these days for her words to leave you completely befuddled. “What?”
Her lips curled, a soft, achingly familiar smile creasing her features. There was a slight trace of mirth sparkling in her eyes, as well as some other unnamed emotion you didn’t dare wish for.
You couldn’t look away even if you had longed to; the simple truth was that you were still spellbound by her presence, captivated by every motion. And that soft, gentle, affectionate smile-
You hung your head in shame, desperately wishing you could cling to your anger, could somehow rid yourself of this depthless yearning.
Her hand rose slowly, as if she were approaching a startled animal. The movement in your peripheral had you instinctively take a step back, once more studying the Archangel, now with far more confusion.
“What it means, mi praevideat, is that I forgive you, and I apologise for departing without proper explanation.”
Her words had only just reached you, spoken so softly that they nearly were lost to what remained of the breeze.
You stared dumbly at her, doubting your own senses.
It was inconceivable; Raphael was just as proud as her siblings, in many ways even more so. For her to be expressing any form of remorse-
The light from one of the lanterns reflected in her eyes, the shifting shadows tugging you away from your suspicious rumination. You allowed yourself the diversion, taking a moment to study the eyes you had drowned in countless times before.
Shifting axinite and bronze, and always that faint flicker of beryl- They were a cacophony of colour, ringing with a whole symphony of emotion.
Doubt clung to you, your eyes narrowed as you tried to detect any insincerity from the Archangel.
But her posture was tranquil, hands extended slightly from her sides in mimicry of a gesture you yourself had made thousands of times before. She was truly offering her atonement, truly regretted ever harming you.
That simple asseveration was sufficient enough to pacify what had remained of your insecurities.
Raphael sensed your crumbling barricades before you yourself could even begin to acknowledge them, meeting you directly, steering you safely into the harbour of her embrace.
"I'm sorry," breathed tenderly against your temple, cautious fingers tracing new paths through your hair.
You sighed, trying to continue grasping the threads of your anger, the fading traces of former anguish. But the memories were hazing away, all aching and suffering retreating under the Healer's tender supervision, adrenaline ebbing away with each breath.
There was a moment when the atmosphere around you shifted, the cooled night air replaced with the glowing warmth of a candlelit room, torrential downpour replaced by the gentle medley of droplets against ancient windowpanes.
Sometime in the hazy, blissful moments that followed, you had found yourself lying on a bed, the familiar hints of somnolence creeping ever closer.
You had never dared to hope for anything beyond a few moments, had not dared to dream of the possibility you could weather the storm together.
Your fingers drifted languidly across her back, pausing over each scar, every rise and fall of bone beneath her skin. You brushed aside stray feathers as you explored, giving into the inescapable smile at being bequeathed this vulnerability.
An austere prayer of gratitude slipped past your subconscious, the smallest hint of praise to the most rebellious of Angels. You had to give the Devil his due; Lucifer still knew the exact words to prompt his kin into action.
"It's highly impolite-" A drowsy voice interrupted your chain of thoughts, drawing your focus back to Raphael’s visage. Satisfied she had your attention, her eye closed once more, a small hint of bemusement coating her words. "-that you're thinking of my brother right now."
Guilt summoned a wince from you, one you quickly shoved aside, favoring instead to fall once more to the empty space beside her, patient eyes taking in every crease, every pore, every millimetre of perfection to your beloved's physique.
Surrender was a word neither of you would ever dare speak, but as you allowed yourself to relax in Raphael's embrace, your heavy eyes drifting gently over umber wings still sparkling with residual energy, you accepted the irrefutable truth of your circumstances.
You had fallen irrevocably for an Archangel.
And somewhere, only just piercing the cusps of whim and fancy, as you succumbed to the steady crescendo of slumber's sirenous strains, the lingering scents of cinnamon and petrichor drizzled softly on a breeze sighing: I love you, too.
Chuck looked past you and you followed his gaze. it was a younger version of you, running into the bunker with tears in your eyes.
"(Y/N), please. Talk to us," Sam said as he came into the bunker.
"Why is this a happy memory?" Chuck asked you as he joined your side.
"What?" You asked him.
"You just died. You're in heaven."
"I'm dead?" You asked. He nodded.
"yes, you died in the street, killed by a demon." You remember this, of course, but it felt like a dream.
"Then what are you doing here? I thought you didn't interfere?"
"I want to watch the rest of this," He said. You look back at the memory.
The younger you turned and glared at Sam.
"Just leave me alone, Sam. For once will you mind your own damn business?"
"(Y/N, please, you haven't said much since those demons had you. I just want to make sure your okay." You remember this conversation. You hated it.
"Well, maybe you should go check on your brother, he needs your help more than I do," With that, past you stormed out of the room.
You looked at Chuck before following the memory into your bedroom.
Past you threw everything off the dresser and bed before screaming. She suddenly started rummaging through a dresser drawer. She pulled out a phone. She looked at it for a moment before sighing and opening it up and pressing call.
"Hey," she said. She listened, biting her lip. "I'm sorry. I just- it kinda scared me. You don't have a good reputation. At all." She listened for a moment before a small smile formed on her lips. "I mean I would like it, but my brothers know who you are."
A flap of wings later and there was a dark and menacing shadow in the room.
You stumbled back, into Chuck's arms. He cursed.
"Chuck?" Your voice trembled.
"He isn't allowed here. He won't appear to you."
"But...Chuck?" He was back at watching your memory that was tainted by being unable to see Lucifer.
"That is weird seeing you do that. I'm used to you being human."
"Oh darling, I didn't mean to lead you to think I was human, it just happened. I didn't want you to leave me."
Even his voice was different to the point that it terrified you.
"Chuck, if heaven is just reliving my best memories, I can't do that. Look at him," You sobbed. Chuck put his hands on your shoulders and turned you to him.
"I know, but you're here. I hope you'll learn to accept it."
"No." You glared at him. He faltered.
"No?" He asked.
"no. Send me back." Chuck sighed, dropping his hands.
"You know it's not that simple."
"Then make it that simple. My brothers have done it."
"My brothers will kill you if they find you here," The younger version of you said.
"I have been dying to just see you again. It's worth it."
"Explain to me why you lied. Because I feel like you used me to get to my brothers. I don't like feeling that way."
"Chuck, send me back. Now!"
"I'm sorry." with that he was gone, You screamed.
For days you watched memories, were in memories. And almost all of them had the dark and shadowy figure instead of Lucifer. You were beginning to forget what he looked like. And then you were on the couch. With Gabe and the dark figure in the room, too. You played it all the way through until you started to the elevator. That's when it switched to a different memory. the memory when you met Sam and Dean. Except Cas showed up. You remember when you met Cas, and it wasn't then.
"(Y/N!)" He jogged over to you and grabbed onto your wrist. The memory flipped until you were in the bunker alone with him. "are you okay? We're working on getting you back. Why didn't you ask for backup? Why did you go after the demons alone? " He asked.
"You're really here?" he nodded and you wrapped your arms around him. He waited a second before wrapping his arms around you. "Please get me out of here," you sobbed.
"We're working on it. I need you to stay strong." He seemed to disappear into thin air.
"CAS? CASTIEL?" you feel to the ground, you hated it here. You wanted to be in the arms of your loving archangels. At least you could see Gabriel, but you couldn't see Lucifer. Or hear his voice and it was driving you mad.
You spent a moment thinking before bowing your head.
"Gabriel, if you can hear me, please save me from this place. I miss you. And Luce. Please, I can't stand it." You waited a moment before collapsing to your knees.
"come on, sweets, I don't like seeing you cry." You snapped your head towards Gabriel. you jumped up, fully intending to crush him in a hug but he backed up. "As much as I would love to touch you right now, I'm not here. You can't feel me, but I am here for you."
"Is it possible to get me out?" You asked.
"You really don't like it here?"
"Why would I?"
"Luci? Are you there?" A new memory began. With a flap of wings, The dark shadow figure was back.
"Oh, that makes more sense. We're so sorry, we didn't mean for this to happen and-"
"it is not your fault," you snapped. "Or his. Okay? I should have been more prepared. I'm a hunter, it was always in the cards," you said. And You could clearly see the pain and guilt in his eyes.
"no, this is our fault. We are more than capable of taking care of a few low life demons."
"Gabe, please, don't blame yourself for this," you begged. You hated seeing him like this.
"I've missed seeing you. I want to take you somewhere nice," The giant shadow roared in the memory.
You long for your boyfriend's face, and voice, and touch.
"We're doing what we can, but I won't lie to you, it's difficult. We're low on grace."
"I understand, I know you're doing what you can." Gabriel left, promising he would see you again.
You stayed put for a while before you went exploring. You found other people, like people who were actually there, that you could interact with. You accepted it with wide arms. And the best part about it? It was a bar. You were just enjoying your drink with your new found friends when someone spoke from behind you.
"(Y/N) Winchester, come with me." You turned, a woman was standing there, looking angry. You took the bottle and broke it against her head. She cracked her neck and suddenly you were falling before losing complete consciousness.
When you woke, a scream forced itself from your throat. You looked around before you heard fast approaching footsteps. You got into a defensive position before you saw Jack's face.
"You're alive," He said. You nodded.
"I guess I am," you heaved. You felt as if you had run five marathons. He gave you a stiff hug, it was okay, you knew that was what he considered a hug. he helped you stand. After nearly falling, you got your balance. He led you through the halls before you saw Dean, whose back was towards you. You took off and wrapped your arms around him.
"What the f- (Y/N)!" He quickly wrapped his arms around you, just as tight. You gave the same treatment to Sam, and then to Cas. You nodded to Bobby and Mary.
Gabriel, Lucifer? You mentally prayed. You didn't see them anywhere.
Two flaps of wings and your two archangels were standing there. You smiled. They looked relaxed, but you knew better. They were not okay.
"Well, look what the cat dragged in," Luce chuckled.
"Hey, Lucifer, good to see you too. Hey, Gabe." He nodded at you. Seeing Luce there, you wanted to run over to him, and never let go. But you couldn't. "I think I'm going to go lay down," you said.
"Yeah, take some rest. I know it's rough. You know, um-"
"Dying?" You offered as Sam had stopped. he nodded, giving you a slight smile. "Yeah, I noticed."
"But when you're rested, we're talking about why you went after some demons, alone." You nodded and headed to your room. As soon as you locked the door, cold arms wrapped around you. You smiled.
"I am so sorry. I didn't mean for-"
"Shh," you interrupted Lucifer and tightened your grip on his arms. He sighed and picked you up, depositing you on the bed. Warm hands met your back.
"he won't listen. For good reason, it's our fault."
"no, it's not, you idiots." You hit each of them with a pillow before rolling on top of Lucifer. His sad eyes stared into yours. You missed him so much. "You have no idea how much I've missed you. Only being able to see a shadow of you. I love you, please don't ever leave me."
"Never," he promised. He pulled you closer, gently kissing you. You wrapped your hands around him and held onto his shoulders.
"do I get one?" Gabriel asked but neither of you answered.
"Gabe, leave. Now." Lucifer broke the kiss to say.
"Why? She's my girlfriend to." Lucifer turned his head, eyes glowing red.
"HEY! Knock it out," you tried but the two of them were not finished. "Please, I just want to relax with you two, I missed you guys. But not the fights, please stop." You sobbed, despite trying not to and gained both of their attention.
"Please don't cry," Luce tried, but the tears were flowing.
"Sweetie, we're sorry. We're trying our best." Gabe said. You closed your eyes, trying to get a grip on yourself. You ended up fleeing to hide in the bathroom.
"Come out or I'm coming in," Lucifer said.
"Please-just give me a minute," you asked, struggling to suck in air.
"Okay. We're out here for you." You wanted to go out and be there with them, but they were scaring you. You didn't want them to fight. You would drop things with both of them unless they would get along. You could not deal with them constantly threatening each other.
when you caught your breath you went back out there. They both silenced and turned to you.
“Here’s the deal, leave and get along. And if you can’t do that, don’t bother coming back. You won’t be welcomed.” When either of them tried to talk, you shushed them. “I said leave. If and when you stop fighting like two-year-olds, that’s when you can come back.” They offered one more attempt at arguing before flying off.
The first two days were expected. The third was not. Usually, Lucifer would have come back and try to explain things. Then a week went by. Then another. Then a month. The pain of not being with them when you died was nothing compared to the pain of you all being alive but still not capable of being together. Your relationship with your brothers was fraying, and they figured it was because you died. That you were readjusting. It was technically true. It was weird, dying. But it wasn’t why you were barely eating or talking. It didn’t help that there was a hell of a lot of strangers in your home.
When you figured Lucifer and Gabriel weren’t coming back, you threw yourself into more dangerous hunts to keep your mind off of things. It worked, for a week. Until one nasty wendigo managed to injure your side pretty bad before you were able to take care of him. Sam and Dean ordered you into bed rest. So there you were, laying in your bed that seemed too big. You had a movie playing, but you weren’t paying it a bit of attention. You were zoned out, thinking about all the bad things you’ve done in your life. So much so, you didn’t notice the flap of wings until cold arms gently picked up and placed you on top of him. You arched your head back to see lucifer’s Blue eyes looking at you with concern.
“Hey, what did you do this time?”
”Let a wendigo get the best of me,” you responded.
”you took care of it right?”
”always.”
There was a moment of silence as the two of you stared at each other.
“I have missed you so much,” he finally said.
”I miss you too,” you were surprised. He didn’t often get tears in his eyes, but he did now. He closed them and pressed a kiss against your forehead. When he pulled away, his eyes were free of tears as he looked ahead of him blankly.
“Gabriel and I have always fought. Hell, I even killed him once. But I won’t let our differences tear us apart. I cared about you long before he even met you. I want us to be happy....all of us. He and I have talked. We can’t promise to always get along. But we do promise to try,” a tear slid down your face as you carefully rolled over so you could wrap your arms around him. He instantly wrapped his around you.
”that’s all I’m asking for.”
"sweets?" A knock on the door. "Can I come in?" The hesitant voice of Gabe called. Luce looked at you questionably and you nodded. The door flew opened and Gabe walked in, closing the door behind him. He looked at the way you were sprawled on top of Lucifer and smiled.
"In no way did I mean to make you unhappy, or come between you and Lucifer. I-"
"Gabriel," Luce interrupted and for a moment you feared a fight. "You didn't come between us. Trust me, (y/n) wouldn't put up with you if she didn't want you here. The only thing coming between us is mine and your disliking of each other."
"then we'll work on that. Unless you don't want me," Gabriel's honey eyes Locked onto your eyes. You rolled them and patted the bed.
"you won't get rid of me that easy. You're both stuck with me," you laugh but they didn't seem to think it was funny.
"were not stuck with you. We love you and cherish each and every second with you," Gabe said. You smiled as Luce nodded, agreeing. But then it slipped, remembering what had plagued mind since you figured out Lucifer was Lucifer. "Hey, what's wrong, sweets?"
"Nothing," you murmured.
"(Y/n), don't lie," Luce warned. "You know I know when you're lying."
"it's stupid and I don't want to think about it. I just want to lay in the arms of my boyfriends that I missed so much."
"if something's bothering you, we talk about it. Remember? Being in a relationship means sharing."
"It's just, in human, obviously. The luckiest in the world because I somehow have you two. Beautiful archangels. But I'm human. So, what happens when I die?" They both silenced. “Its been on my mind a lot since I came back. I don’t know what to do about it, I’m going to die, I’m human.”
”yes, you are human. But, when the time comes, and you still want to be with us, we can seek out the help of a witch. Make your life longer. So that we can keep you with us,” Lucifer said.
”that means leaving everyone I love behind. Watch them die.” You said.
”it does,” Gabriel said.
“I’ll think about it. But right now, I want ice cream and to lay in the arms if you two.”
"We can do that."
The next couple of weeks consisted of you clinging to your two boyfriends, itching to heal so you could get up and either go on a hunt or just out of the bunker. With the bunker full of strangers, it didn't feel like your home anymore. You didn't feel safe. Gabe and Luce had tried to tell you otherwise, to convince you that you were safe, but you were jumpy. When you died, you realized what happened with the demon. But the bunker had always been a safe haven for you, and it just wasn't that anymore. The moment your side healed enough, you were in a car and driving far away.
A rustling of feathers later, and Luce was looking at you with a disapproving look from the passenger seat, Gabe staring holes into the back of your head. You sighed.
"I wasn't running away."
"You just healed enough to walk, you shouldn't be going on a hunt," Luce said.
"..."
"You're not going on a hunt. Where are you going?" He pressed.
"It doesn't matter."
"I think it does." When you stayed quiet, he groaned. "at least let Gabe drive." you nodded, defeated. The next second, you were in Luce's lap and Gabe was driving.
"I was going to see my cousin. My adoptive one." Luce tightened his hold on you.
"You're not going anywhere near them," He hissed and you looked over, his eyes glowing red. You put your hand on his cheek.
"Calm down." He looked over to you and buried his face in your shoulder. Gabe looked over in concern. He didn't know the whole story, just enough to know he didn't like the idea of you going back there.
"It's almost Christmas and I haven't seen her in years. I need to make sure she's okay." Luce's grip tightened but nodded.
"We're going with you." You agreed and told Gabe where to go. At some point, you fell asleep in the cold arms of your protector. When you woke up, you were in a nice bed, sun shining onto your face.
"Hey sweets, hope you don't mind, we booked a hotel room." You sleepily glared at Gabe. They knew you preferred cheap motels because they were easier to run away from. He gave you a smirk and flopped on the bed, causing you to groan as you were jostled around. You finally got the energy to pick yourself off the bed and go to the bathroom to freshen up. When you finished dressing, you glared into the mirror before ruffling through your bag for something you haven't worn in years. Pulling it on, and plastering a fake smile, looking into the mirror you looked like that scared little girl that ran away from this town all those years ago. In a longsleeved dress and leggings, not one of your tattoos were showing, nor your scars, save the little one on your forehead. You very grateful when you woke up that your body was exactly as it was before you died. All of your tattoos, scars, everything that you saw as growth. It's what made you, you.
You stepped out of the bathroom, gaining Gabe's and Luce's attention. They both looked at you with wide eyes.
"Unless you want to attend Sunday morning church with me, I'm leaving." A snap of fingers and they were both in suits. You groaned but continued out of the room. In the car, you could feel their eyes on you as you drove to the place you loathed with a fiery passion.
"You're hiding your tattoos," Lucifer barely spoke but you heard him. You nodded once, keeping your eyes on the hauntingly familiar roads. "Why? I thought you didn't want that to happen."
"Because. I'm here for my cousin. Not because of me. If I walk in there with all of my tattoos on display, I won't be able to get close to her."
"Sweets, we can get you to her. There's no need for you to hide." You throw your eyes to glare at Gabe through the mirror.
"I know that. But I just. I need to go back. At least once. I need to show them that I survived."
"You did more than survive," Lucifer said as he grabbed your hand. You have him a nice smile. "You have thrived."
"Thank you, Luce. And that is why I need to go back."
"You're still hiding," Gabe said. You nodded once, turning into the church parking lot. You parked and glared at the white building in front of you. People were going from their cars to the church. You recognized most, and your hands tightened on the wheel.
"Y/N, don't put yourself in a position like this." You look over to Luce before prying your fingers away from the wheel. You heard a scream, and your hunter reflexes reached for the gun in your jacket, which wasn't there, as you weren't wearing your custom jacket. Then you saw who screamed. Your cousin was running towards your car. You quickly unbuckled your seatbelt and got out of the car. She threw herself at you and you wrapped your arms around her petite frame.
"You're really here," she breathed. You nodded, holding her close. You knew from experience that being there was terrible. But you got lucky.
You got out.
She didn't.
You moved your hands down a little and she winced. You grimaced at that. Not only was she too incredibly skinny, but she also had welts on her back.
"Why did you come back? You got out of here. Why did you come back?" She cried as she pulled back enough to look at you.
"I had to see you. I couldn't bare not knowing if you were okay. Are you?" She smiled a soft smile, casting her eyes to the ground.
"I'm dealing."
"Ah-hem." You turned to glare at Luci. Mikayla looked at you, then the two archangels,
"Who are they?" She asked.
"pains in the ass who insisted on coming with me," you said, making a point to make sure they heard you clearly. Luce gave you a smirk.
"I am Gabriel, and this is my brother, Luke." He shot a pointed look to Luce who nodded.
"If I wasn't gay, I'd be begging you to set us up," She whispered into your ear. Not that it did much good, they most certainly still heard her, but she did not need to know that.
"Is that who I think it is?" Mrs. Ellis, an old bat who always gossiped was looking over at you and Mikayla.
"they have spotted you." Mikayla grabbed your hand, squeezing it tight. You looked at the many people who were now looking at the four of you. Oh, how you wanted to beat their smug smiles off of their hypocritical faces. Mikayla pulled you towards the church. You could see all the places you used to hide from your adoptive parents. Luce and Gabe stayed close to you. Mikayla pushed you into a booth, next to Robert, her father. He glared at the two of you, but you tried to ignore him, instead holding onto Mikayla's arm. Luce shot you a concerned look as he and Gabe sat on the pew across the aisle.
Throughout the sermon, you began to regret this choice more and more. The brutal memories of your childhood were like ghosts in the church. Everywhere you looked you could remember the pain you went through. Everything about this place made you want to attack anything in sight. Since you came back, you had been itching for a fight.
When the sermon was over, your adoptive parents came over, glaring at you. Mary and James, the two people that could rival the actual monsters you have fought over the years.
"You decided to come back? Have you finally decided to repent from your heathen ways?" Mary spat. Luce was immediately by your side.
"Watch your tone." He warned.
"And you are?" Mary asked.
"You will not interfere with how we treat our daughter," James said.
"Please just leave her alone," Mikayla pleaded.
"Keep your mouth shut, unholy faggot." You wanted to punch James in the face, but the rest of them were still there. You grabbed Mikayla's hand and started leaving the church. Luce and Gabe followed close behind.
You all went to a small diner, where you promptly started asking Mikayla all kinds of questions. If she was okay, if there was anything you could do to help her.
"Yes, you can go back to wherever you came from. Go. You were safe there, please. It'll be okay. I will be okay. Now go. Now." You wanted to argue with her, but Luce was already pulling you from the diner. You fought against him, of course, you did. She was your cousin, someone you only wanted the best for. But you also knew there was no use in trying to fight him, He was Lucifer. An archangel, there is no match for that.
You were thrashing in his arms, and a flap of wings later, you were sitting on his lap, his arms securely around you in your hotel room. You wrapped your arms around his neck, burying your face in the crook of his neck, trying not to cry. You felt responsible for her pain because you escaped from the horrid family, but you left her there. You left her in a terrible place.
"Hey, shhh. It's not your fault. None of it is your fault. it's okay. She was right though, it's not safe for you here. You and I both know it."
"I know, but-"
He put a finger over your mouth, shushing you as he looked into your eyes. You would always get lost in his eyes, but this made you more upset because you were crying in front of him. You heard a flap of wings before Gabe sat on the bed next to Lucifer and deposited a giant bowl of your favorite ice cream into your lap. you smiled at him and began eating it, it was silent besides your occasional sniffle. Luce did not loosen his grip on you, perfectly content to hold you close.
"I know it's stupid for me to be crying, but I feel responsible for everything that has happened to her. Because when I left this hellhole of a town, I also left her here."
"It's not stupid. She is your family. But also, you didn't have much choice. Would you pull her into your world, where every monster in the book is after you? It's not any safer than here," Gabe said, putting a soothing hand on your shoulder.
"I can't eat anymore of this ice cream." Gabriel chuckled and with a snap of his fingers, the bowl was gone. You looked at your two guys, smirked, and flopped between them, pulling them down to the bed. Lucifer grunted but Gabe laughed, pulling you close, kissing the tip of your nose. You chuckled as you looked over to Luce who was scowling at you two.
"Come on Lucy, live a little," Gabe teased. You reached up, and grabbed a pillow, before whacking Gabe with it, and taking off running. Gabe called after you, before throwing a pillow after you. You shrieked and dove behind a wall. You heard a whack before fast approaching footsteps came your way. Luce slid next to you. You shared a quick kiss before whacking him the face.
"Every man-err Angel for himself!" You shouted and took off running again. You heard your two boys chuckle as you bolted into the bathroom. The smile slipped from your face when you caught your reflection. You were not dressed like you. dropped your weapon, aka the pillow, and quickly stripped from your dress and leggings, shoes long gone. You grabbed one of Luce's shirts and pulled it on. You rearmed yourself, just as the door opened and the two of them froze at the door. You smirked and whacked both of them, laughing as you ran away again.
"Cheater!"
"Tease!"
You laughed but shrieked when you were lifted off the ground, cold arms around your waist. He dropped you onto the bed, both of them hitting you with pillows. The three of you were laughing, something quite unusual to happen lately. You shrieked, jumping when Gabe began tickling you. you tried wiggling away, but Luce was in your way.
"Gabe!"
"Yes, sweets?" He did not stop his assault on you.
"Luce! Protect me!"
"That's not fair," Gabe complained but continued. Luce dropped down, laying on top of you.
"Oof. That's not quite what I meant," You chuckled, flaying your arms.
"Oh? it's not? What did you have in mind, then?" He whispered against your ear. You shivered, smiling at him. Well, as best as you could when he was literally laying on top of you.
"Alright, get up." He grumbled, but did so, smiling as he pulled you up. You wrapped your arms around your two wonderful angels. "Thanks. I needed that." They smiled at you, holding you close.
"You deserve the world," Gabe said
"No, She does not," Lucifer scoffed, making Gabe glare at him. "She deserves so much better," he finished. You smiled, leaning up to kiss him. Gabe whine, making you and Luce chuckle. You gave him one. He moaned, pulling you closer. You smiled, eagerly kissing back.
Then the door flew open, banging against the wall, making you and Gabe jump apart, Lucifer jumping up, eyes red, angel blade out. Gabriel held you protectively close. You peaked from behind Lucifer, and your blood ran cold. Sam and Dean were standing in the doorway, guns drawn.
Warning(s): I don’t think there’s anything, mentions of injuries but that’s it.
Summary: When god created the archangels, he created five. Now the darkness has risen again, and he needs to make a choice.
Other: Part two maybe sometime in the future? Send a request if you want part two!
When God had created the archangels he created five. But the world only heard of the first four, Michael, Lucifer, Raphael, and Gabriel.
The fifth archangel, (Y/N), was the youngest.
She was also the mate of the four other archangels, before the mark of cain, before the fighting, and before lucifer's’ fall, back when heaven was at peace.
For decades (Y/N) and her archangels loved each other, cared for each other, and protected each other. Until one day she disappeared. No warning, no trace. Just gone. The archangels were heartbroken, they felt betrayed, abandoned. But no angel knew why she left, no one but God knew, and the last time any angel had heard from him was over a decade ago.
Not to long after her disappearance the mark started to truly affect Lucifer. He couldn't handle the rage inside without his mate anchoring him, and protecting him from himself. And then the fighting started. Gabriel fled, Lucifer fell and was locked in the cage, and slowly the memory of (Y/N), the legendary fifth archangel became just that, a memory. A legend thought to be a myth by the other angels.
With the darkness being released and being stronger than ever god realized that neither Michael nor Lucifer would be able to handle her. So he made a decision, and raised Gabriel and Raphael from the dead. He hoped that in doing this he wouldn’t have to go further and make a more drastic call.
But that didn’t help at all. Gabriel went down first, fatally injured and still recovering when Raphael was injured, but not as badly. Michael and Lucifer were unable to keep fighting the darkness without putting their brothers in jeopardy. So they retreated, back to the bunker.
“What are we going to do?” Sam asked. Everyone was sitting somewhere in the bunker’s library. Lucifer popped up a comfy couch to lay Gabriel and Raphael on while he and Michael helped heal them, Castiel and Sam were sitting in a couple of chairs on the other side of the room, while Dean was pacing in between Sam and the saraph. Nobody noticed the inner war that God was having with himself standing in the doorway only a few feet away.
“She’s gotten even stronger since the last time we’ve battled.” Michael commented, wiping a gash on Raphael’s arm causing him to grunt in pain.
“We won’t be able to defeat her by ourselves.” Lucifer added. Dean grunted in acknowledgement but continued to pace as Sam watched him in worry.
“Then it’s time I call in someone else.” God pipped up for the first time, causing most of the beings in the room to jump. He was so silent that many of them had forgotten he was their. Or had just ignored him.
“Who? Who else has enough power to defeat the darkness, if the archangels cannot?” Castiel asked staring intently at his father, his eyes narrowed slightly. Dean had officially stopped pacing as his, and everyone else’s, attention was now dead set on the fake prophet. He fidgeted nervously, glancing at the archangels.
