Well, excluding Sharpedo Grimsley. He seems to be more intimately familiar with humans, and thus, he probably just smells blood from his partner and asks if they're going through it. He then has to admit the scent of blood is doing things to him. Run…?

Eelektross Emmet smells blood and panics over you, assuming something attacked you or that you received an injury from the rocks or coral. When he sees no visible injury, he panics more. Your explanation only makes him think that you are bleeding internally. He will have to be convinced that you are not dying. Ingo may need to be called as backup to explain.

Mitotic Volo is… disgusted. The concept makes him uncomfortable. At first, he worried that you were injured, but the actual reason made him scrunch up his nose. Not the biggest fan of human biology here.

Gyarados Cyrus… He is embarrassed to admit that he was unaware. Look, he is not the most personable sort. His attention is on machines. And he is a fish man. He smelled blood and grew worried that you had an injury, but your explanation disturbed him. Something something, fish man's perfect world will not include such things, something something.

Jellicent Lear panics the most. The jellyfish man searches over you for any injury, and when he sees none, he grows panicked about internal bleeding. He knows absolutely nothing about human biology. Your explanation worries him more. This is… this is natural to you!? He cannot stand the concept. Then, knowing you are made uncomfortable by it… He offers to turn you into a Jellicent once more.

Sharpedo Archie has the funniest reaction. After searching you down for injuries, you just explain what is going on. He then asks why. Your reply of not knowing why makes him sad.

I fear now we need all of the men navigating NNN. My beloved man Cyrus would see no problem with the challenge and would probably call it dumb

Cyrus is victorious by default. His low libido makes it no challenge, after all. Though, he absolutely is not actively participating. He finds the concept dumb and sees no reason to indulge it. He just wins because he does not ever really seek sex unless it's to appease his partner or to cope with horribly strong emotions. Basically, as long as you don't demand sex nor does anything make emotions run high, he's winning without trying.

Grimsley is dying but trying his absolute damnedest. The gambler has the highest libido of the group and is the resident manwhore (before settling down with his partner… who now has to deal with his sexual appetite). Despite this, however, he loves a challenge. If you offer a bet to him about making it through November like this, he will agree. The price you pay will likely be something insane. He is surprisingly resolute about it all. He has trained himself to hide his emotions, after all. Teasing him seems ineffective. Though, he can and may break. In truth, it is a battle of his love of gambling versus sex.

Colress agrees. Why? Well, for one, he believes he can do just fine without sex. But, also, because this is valuable data! How will your bond with one another change due to the lack of sex? How will you react? How will he feel? He has read plenty of studies on the supposed benefits, but he is eager to see if they truly are to occur. Basically, November becomes a personal study for him. Be ready to he observed (as usual).

Nanu grumbles and says no. He is not having his schedule and sexual proclivity dictated by some internet meme. He is too damn old for that. If you want to go in on it, be his guest. He has handled his own needs before, and he can handle them now. Will not participate and cannot be convinced.

Lear is bewildered, but it is a challenge. He scoffs and says that seems easy enough. A month without sex or masturbation? Nothing in comparison to his training to be king. Behold his kingly restraint! (He breaks down halfway in and demands that you stop, too. He is about to snap.)

N doesn't know what you're talking about. He just blinks. Going without nuts for a month? He supposes that some people with nut allergies deal with this for a lifetime, so a month should not be impossible. Do not try to explain further. It is not worth it. He can win by default, too, since he's not inclined towards sex. He mostly meets his partner's needs in that department.

Volo squints his eyes at you. Why are you proposing this to him? He feels as if you are messing with him. Even if you try to explain, there is little to do to convince him. Wager the Azure Flute or something, and he might agree. His willpower is quite terrifying solely towards Arceus. Otherwise, he is not giving up sex for some frivolous challenge. Even pulling the Arceus's Chosen card fails.

Maxie ponders what the hell you are talking about and agrees because you make some comment about Archie being able to do it. Of course, he can go a month without that! He is a man of science and restraint. He suffers endlessly, and his temper is flaring. Magma grunts will beg you to call off whatever you did to their boss. He gives up nearly at the end.

Archie is going to refuse since he doesn't really see how that could be fun or anything beneficial to him. It is only when you mention Maxie apparently being able to do it that he agrees. He surprisingly makes it through the entire month. His mood is barely effected. Maxie is mortified when he hears the news.

Giovanni thinks you're insane, laughs at you, and says no. Then, when you mention it being a display of his strength, he reconsiders. Suddenly, he devotes his entire focus to such a thing and proving you wrong. He will make it through by becoming extremely pissy and by the skin of his teeth. His prize is locking you away for a day and making up for the lost month.

Lysandre supposes he has heard of something like that before. Yet, strangely, nothing can convince him to participate. It simply cannot be done. He says it is a waste of time and energy. (In truth, he simply cannot deny himself pleasure and uses sex as a way to express his love.)

self-aware au prompt... letting them pick a youtube video to watch

Ingo delicately turns on a video related to train travel and watches it while adding in commentary about his personal opinions about the mode of train present in the video. He does not particularly use YouTube too much.

Emmet turns on a video related to some historical moment in train history, like how they used to just crash them to retire them sometimes. He is silent and enjoys the video quietly. There are a bunch of new videos in your watch history slowly over time. When you're too busy for him, he's watch videos.

Cyrus turns on some far too detailed video about mechanical engineering and then reports on their techniques and how he feels. He seems almost entranced, if that were possible. You do not dare interrupt. He enjoys himself in his own way. He does not often watch YouTube, but you do a find a few sporadic videos that align with his tastes.

Volo turns on assorted videos about culture and the modern era. He seems obsessed with gathering as much information as he possibly can. It is difficult to get his attention as he watches since his mind is simply so focused on it. He often does turn on videos when you are not on your phone. The issue? He deletes them from your watch history, so you have no idea what he is watching.

Maxie naturally turns on videos about geothermal power and volcanoes. He attempts to explain it back to you what the videos show. Do not call him a nerd no matter how tempting it may be. He is sharing his interests with you so plainly.

Archie turns on a video of sea-shanties. Nothing more. Nothing less. He appears to be quite contented with his choice.

Lear turns on a video of his battle theme and sits there in contemplation. He still despises reality and has no interest in leaving his beloved Pasio. However, he does have too much free time. You will find him entertaining himself with assorted new stories about real-life royal families. It seems the French Revolution is something he dislikes greatly (making you laugh).

Do any of the mermen get depressed or discouraged by the fact that they can’t be on land with their lover?

Eelektross Emmet does get a bit whiny, especially since his brother also lives on the land. He feels it is simply unfair that he cannot join you two for long periods of time. While he crawls out of the sea and even levitates, he knows that he will eventually have to return to the waves lest he be kept in a fish tank. He simply wishes that both you and his twin were aquatic more often than not.

Sharpedo Archie is really upset. His Luvdisc has to live on that accursed land. He wishes that he could magically turn them into an aquatic hybrid so that they may join him in the waves permanently. Of course, he does mostly accept that it is impossible and spends time happily with them whenever they visit. Though watching them go makes him quite sad. The ocean is his favourite thing, after all.

Jellicent Lear cannot, and to reiterate, cannot stand it. He has to keep them in the water one way or another, or else he lingers at the beach solemnly. Internally, he will start making plans on how to turn them into a Jellicent like himself and refuse to back down. He simply is far too heartbroken to have his partner far out of his reach.

how do the pokeMen play animal crossing? what are their islands like? Who are their favorite NPCs/villagers? How does Cyrus feel about Cyrus??

Ingo spends three years making the perfect town of harmony and joy and using as many train-themed items as he can. His home is a few rooms based around his job. One is a train car from the subway, another is his office, the nap room, a platform. The last two he makes are a room of train items and his bedroom. His unique-ness for decorating is sure to impress. He takes his job as resident representative seriously and makes a proper 5-Star island that gets rave reviews somewhere online. There is a heated debate if this was actually made by Ingo or some intense fan. He never bothers getting in on it.

Emmet lacks the patience for such a game but plays with Ingo because he asks. He lives in Ingo's town and basically does nothing. Though, he does appreciate his brother's love for his virtual town.

Both Emmet and Ingo love Porter. They are both saddened by the lack of trains in New Horizons. They are enchanted by his brother, who is a train engineer, too. They both decide they would be monkeys in the Animal Crossing world because train connections. They also like Timmy and Tommy for the obvious reasons. Champ is their favourite villager.

Cyrus is not big into it. There is little of interest in for him, so he would only play if forced by someone around him. (For example, his partner.) He intends to somehow make his perfect world in the game. He fails. He will deny it when asked, but he quite enjoys Celeste. Space man truly loves space. He likes the robot villagers in concept. Cyrus is horrified by whom he shares a name with. Discussed more here.

Somehow, some way, Archie gets really into Animal Crossing. He is seen enjoying the tropical aesthetics of the game and laughing as he fishes. His dedication is sweet, but the town has no theme outside of making Lilycove and filling it with various fish. His home is themed with the ocean, of course. A room for being a beach, all the mermaid furniture somehow, and a collection of his favourite fish. He only wishes there was more water in the game. His favourite NPC is Kapp'n, naturally. He loves the boat rides and his little songs. Marina is his favourite villager, strangely.

Nanu secretly adores the game and probably plays it under the guise of helping Acerola with her town. Peaceful island life is nicer virtually... No real human interaction, and he gets to laze around peacefully. He is working on recreating Ula'Ula. Most of his villagers are cats, but there is one conspicuous bull villager. Rodeo. If you ask him, he'll just shrug and say he couldn't get him to move out to get another cat. The truth? Tapu Bulu. A shock it may be, but he likes Copper more than Booker. He says that he reminds him of someone. His favourite villager is Punchy for mysterious unknown reasons.

Maxie gets into Animal Crossing solely to spite Archie and make a better town than him. Which he succeeds at! His town is five-stars, unlike that water-obsessed fool's three-star island! He has a large orchard that he cares for dutifully and a farm that makes him steady income! His home is also modern and chic and fully paid off. He makes Archie visit his town and show off to him. Archie is unmoved. Maxie likes Tom Nook. Why? Real estate. He likes Elmer as a villager because his colours make him think of Camerupt.

N deeply enjoys Animal Crossing after he is introduced to it and works tirelessly to make a happy island. His ideals for the real world blossom in living happily among pokemon/animals. He also loves making various places in real life on his island. The Nimbasa Amusement Park is most notable. He will mumble to himself about the formulas involved and seen in a daze while playing. His favourite NPC is Harvey. He doesn't have a favourite villager – He loves them all.

Lear will play Animal Crossing at the behest of others. He will they grow frustrated they do not view him as their king, and he has to do all the hard work. He does not play for long. His favourite NPC was Isabelle since she seems so nice and polite. He has no favourite villager. None of them bowed to him.

Cyrus is withering away in this heatwave and rendered, unable to work unless his office is kept at like 22°c exactly. While he may have come from a warm port town, he is not made for this heat. He is a fragile inside boy.

Ingo and Emmet have had to shed away their work jackets and even find themselves having to roll up their sleeves just to make between work and home without overheating. It was so cool in the Gear Station since it is underground, but the heat of the surface is getting to them.

Larry also finds himself peeling away layers of his suit as he goes from place to place, finding the heat to grow simply unbearable as the day becomes hotter. Poor Rika says he needs to invest in a summer collection when he nearly passes out one day.

Nanu bewildering manages the heat well. He seems nearly unaffected. His secret? He will never share. Grimsley wishes to know it as he almost faints by walking outside. His kimono is quite breathable and ventilated, yet he simply is not made for the Alolan sun. Somehow, Nanu wanders around him while he walks under a parasol. Acerola ponders this situation.

Colress is also unaffected. Yet, he absolutely should be in his state of being covered from neck to toe. Though, unlike Nanu, he eagerly shares his secret. Built-in water cooling in his portable console coat. Many will try to take it from him, all will fail.

Kabu considers it heat training and powers through any high temperatures with determination and remaining well-hydrated. This is no worse than his Centiskorch wanting to cuddle. He will survive.

Volo's rage about his curse of immortality is only beaten by his annoyance towards the sun. He has to shed away his careful layers to help disguise him as his beloved Hisui, now Sinnoh, is being baked alive. Part of him wants to wander further north, but he cannot simply could not bear to leave the old, abandoned mansion he opted to stay in.

Maxie is having a good time. This is exactly what he wanted. He stands in the direct line of the sun in his complete uniform. Archie tackles him in to the sea nearby. Local pirate saves his needs friend from heatstroke.
