🍓 ⇢ how did you get into writing fanfiction?

oh, man. so technically the first fanfic i wrote (not completed) was when i was maybe eleven and REALLY into andrew lang's fairytale collection, but due to not understanding Tropes and Themes i was mad about how there was no good middle child representation (in fairy tales the genus 'middle child' seems to be innately evil lmao) so i started re-writing one of my favourites to be about a middle child. but i didn't start publishing fanfic (star wars at first) until a dear friend encouraged me when i was sixteen or so!

uhhhh i don't know how unpopular this is but i'm fully convinced that bruce wayne is asexual. i think sex is something he does because it's expected of him, not because he has any interest in it. i also think he doesn't actually sleep around much because like, have you SEEN that man's schedule? you think he has TIME for it? no way! i think he just pays a bunch of different people to say he slept with them tbh.

🔪 ⇢ what’s the weirdest topic you researched for a writing project?

german-polish interwar relations? girl i went to the LIBRARY for that. only for all of the research to be contained to like, three paragraphs in one chapter. c'est la vie.

🦷 ⇢ share some personal wisdom or a life hack you swear on

not related to writing, but find three things everyday that you're grateful for/that make you happy. it trains you to look for beauty in the world even when life otherwise is terrible. my mother had me start doing that when i was a teenager and it literally changed my life.

ones that tell me their favourite line or what made them Feel Something!!! also any comment. i do not get many so they are all precious to me :)

It IS a congrats because I got a job down in Orange County, which I'm very excited about, but it's complicated by the fact that I just started dating a boy up here...God loves the whole timing thing, doesn't He?

“Jason,” Tim said, sounding calm and intense, even as the game breaks away for a commercial. “I have never been chill about this team a day in my life.”

Dominic was still awake when Bruce Wayne showed up in Lululemon joggers and a henley at the rectory and deposited a sleeping nephew into Jason’s arms.

“Since I’m a good Catholic and all,” Dominic said, “I won’t say there are too many kids. Just seems like a lot for a rectory at 1am.”  

“We’re night people,” Jason said apologetically, raising his eyebrows at Bruce.

gun:

He passes the study where the young Master has been confined, whether he actually studies or not, and pauses. It’s entirely too quiet, he thinks, when Bruce is in business of poking his nose into every happening at the Manor. Not even he could brood so much he would not appear to investigate the sound of a gun.

I have laughs not laughter (a misc scene for the Jason lives au):

He laughs and throws himself down on the mat, taking another sip of water. If he notices Bruce’s eyes are a little wet, he doesn’t say anything. He just leans back on his hands and says, “Well look at that! Watch out, B, soon you might have some competition!”

i don’t have steel or pink or anything i could sub for them :/

(fic title) the papers say it’s doomsday

Okay this would be in the POV of a citizen during let's say an alien invasion. Like it starts off with "The papers say it's doomsday." and the fic centers around this citizen watching the Justice League trying to fight these aliens. They get caught up in falling debris and traffic jams as they try to go to work (because corporations don't care that there's an alien invasion - the office is still open). Maybe they come home and their apartment is half-destroyed from Superman being thrown into it. By the end, the Justice League has saved the day of course.

I just thought of an ominous line at the end where it's like "The papers said it was doomsday, but they were wrong.

I'm terrified of the day when they are right."

Watching Matthews flirt with Wilzewski from the surveillance van set a sick, angry twist in his gut. Even more so as he saw pieces of Portia in so many of Matthew's gestures. 

"Didn't think you were the type to get jealous, McKinley."

Casper clenches his jaw, and then relaxes it."I'm not. I just hate that man."

"What, did he cover a job better than you? Able to reach a painting too high up for you?"

Pov: kensington

"Were you responsible for the robbery within the Devon Fredrick bank Tuesday evening?"

"Nope! Why would I steal from a bank Kenny??"

"Theatrics. I'm about to send you a picture of something found at the crime scene that I'm hoping you can identify."

Cyril laughs, bowing from his seated position."But it's enough change, Hm? Not quite so instantly irritating. Look, I'm helpful!"

Dad scoffs, but he can tell there's a relieved amusement from his suddenly relaxed posture. So. Not a secret threat or old enemy."and that's certainly the most dramatic difference."

Wrinkle:

Night falls, Quinn bids him farewell for the evening, and Cyril lays in bed, staring at a wrinkle in the blankets. 

Pain is jealous and makes sure sleep doesn't get too close. Anxiety is fine though, that gets a clear pass by Pain's standards.

"That spooky old cathedral?  What could you possibly need from- sorry- that's not a yes or no question uhhhh-" Simon frowns a little."is there something important there?"

She nods, anxiously twisting the twig in her fingers.

Grin:

Pov: Kensington

Kensington's heart nearly leaps out of his chest in shock as Simon snaps into existence right outside the window. 

"Simon what are you-"

Simon taps on the glass with a wide grin, shivering slightly. "Can you open the window?"
