It's genuinely hilarious because on Valley IV you mainly see reactions towards Endministrator based mainly on merit, with those who knew them more closely having a clear idea of their incredible feats and skills, while those who only know them from the stories having a more exaggerated idea of Endmin, such as Rossi basically going "Endmin holy shit I've read so much about you, is it true that you can grow 50 feet tall and breath fire and one time defeated 70 entire clans by yourself and cleared Castlevania IV with just ONE continue!?!?" so you have a good idea of how much of a figure in the history books Endmin is.

Then you get to Wuling and the first thing that happens is that Punished Alphinaud basically does a whole ass test on whether you're faking it or not, and when he realizes the amnesia is real, he becomes The Yearner and throws some cryptic metaphors at you without even asking, but then when Crownslayer 2 gears up for round 2, he immediately throws an Acme Portable Hole under her feet and sends her to eeby deeby because he is YEARNING right now god damn it do NOT interrupt.

And that was weird! But hey you then get to Wuling and whoop de doo we are FUCKING under attack like a mobile game add, which is Fangyi's cue to use her Final Episode of Eureka Seven form

and uses Raigeki to clear up the whole board, looks at Endmin straight in the eyes with a smug sense of accomplishment, and flies away triumphantly, and that's weird!

Then you meet Fangyi and she's like heeeey hey I made the whole city the whole orchard and also the whole technology you wanted to see made, you were my most precious wife and thesis advisor, and now, we can finally play Super Monkey Ball 2 in my Xiranite powered GameCube, dab me up, but Endmind does not dab her up because who the fuck are you and why do you look like a nutricious green onion, and then Fangyi's like Oh Wait The Amnesia Wasn't A Prank? and Endmin is like does the pope shit in the woods? Eureka Seven spoilers by the way, and then Fangyi instantly becomes The Yearner, she quickly uses Auntie Magic to put away the gamecube and the chubby lungs and all that stuff she has to YEARN right now and boy howdy she is GOOD at that, I've listening to all of Fangyi's VAs across different languages and I am almost certain Lowlight himself kidnapped their IRL lovers before having them perform, these women YEARN.

If Valley IV was about how society on a technical and factual level perceive Endministrator, Wuling is about how the individuals they have touched on a personal level perceive Endministrator, and that perception is YEARNING. Endministrator has two selectable forms at the start of the game and they are two different flavors of dead wife. Alphinaud is back at Acme wistfully looking at Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 2's title screen on the PS2, missing his player two, Fangyi is holding back tears putting back the GameCube and planning the Accidents Date with the drone show, Tangtang is wondering where the fuck Darkmask is with the boar meat they are supposed to bring back, Ch'en is begging for the sysadmin to delete her goofy ass face, Perlica, the entire dev team at Wuling is wondering why Viceroy Nutritious Green Onion has sakura petals blowing around her wistfully while Tokimeki Memorial 2 OST - Do You Remember? ~The Bell of Legend plays from a nearby sky rod, god damn, this is Yearnersville, these people just trying to graduate college and fight the Mario Sunshine goop, Viceroy we do not have time for this but do not let that stop you or I will seriously press the button on the bomb vest.
