Natallia hadn’t expected Arthur to explode this much on such a topic, and normally would have probably kept quiet on it...but he had admittedly caught her on a rough day and it had been nagging her recently. And she had technically said it was okay...but that was before. This was now. The fact that he was clearly so angry about it made her own temper flare up, and she was facing him in her cold fury.

“I do not want to fucking announce it to the world, Arthur!” She snapped, eyes flashing. “Is it too much to fucking ask, to want to hold your hand in public? Honestly!” She threw up her hands in anger, a gesture of ‘why the fuck’ as her shoulders slumped a bit. “Are you ashamed of dating me? Is that why you are private about it? Ashamed of dating Russia’s fucking lapdog?” The thought was manifested from her own insecurities and fears, despite no evidence of Arthur ever thinking that. It was too late to take anything back, though.
