I wrote an analysis/critique on the Panserbjørne armor in the 2007 adaptation of The Golden Compass but Tumblr failed to post it and I forgot to save it first so it’s lost. The Panserbjørne are a very fascinating subject to me so I’m very disappointed that I lost the post. I plan on rewriting it but I struggle with fatigue and I’m out of energy for a little while. Hopefully I’ll have it posted by tomorrow so if this topic interests you make sure to check back later.

Ok! So Hagrid: favorite mystical creature?
It’s not from the HP universe, it’s from Phillip Pullman’s universe in which he wrote The Golden Compass -Panserbjørn! They’re armored bears, they’re intelligent and have opposable thumbs. They have the ability to smith metals with great mastery and craft. I’ve always loved the armored bears, if I die I would want to reincarnate as one. Being an armored bear is basically my dream; they live in the high Arctic solitarily and blacksmith.
McGonagall: favorite spell? Most charms I think are super handy, but my immediate thought was the undetectable expansion charm Hermione uses on her beaded bag. I’d love to do that to my backpack.
