Nope, I am not going to tell you NOT to create pollution; NOT to scare the pets & put old people & kids in unease; NOT to create noise. In short, I am not going to tell you(request you) NOT to do anything. Yeah, what do I care? Polluting mother earth? why, seeing the sex ratio of india(& my own ‘hotness’) chances are I am not gonna marry & have kids, so no worries for future generation; & there’s a possibility(a slight one) that I may die tomorrow or the day after or some day before I am 50/60/something… I can bear that much pollution, thank u. You want to create noise? Scare pets & old people & toddlers shitless? Go, have fun. Just don’t burn ur ass doing that. & yeah, keep reading, I’m not done yet. Please. All I want you to consider is this. Lets suppose you get Rs. 3k to buy crackers. Ways to spend it: 1) Buy crackers: Simple. Advtgs: Have fun; feel like the King of Shitland scaring people; pollute; make ur eardrums go POP(like your crackers), anything else? Comment. Disadvtgs: I don’t know of any… except yea, money spent; 3k burned to smoke & ashes. 2) Donate: Give it to some NGOs, old age homes, orphanages… or anywhere u think it will do good. Advtg: The money goes to the needful(‘stead of ashes); Ur partner thinks of u as a kind person(for in-relationship people); self-satisfaction on doing good(for singles, like me); Spreading Happiness Disadvtg: No crackers, pollution, noise; no King-like feel; Money spent. 3) Buy Gifts: Buy ur lil cousin the watch he pines for; ur elder sister the book she loves; ur dad a good pair of specs; ur mom, something she loves; ur maids kid the clothes/books he needs. Something that is NOT consumable (food, chocs…crackers) Advtg: Get gratitude; making friends; Be in their good books; Get blessings; Get love(Non-romantic); Spreading Happiness… and? Feel free to comment. Disadvtg: No crackers, pollution, noise, king-feel… 4) Spend on urself: Need I say more?
