But when he takes her out on dates he realizes their friendship was so much better, but doesn’t know how to tell that to Sybill. Sybill who understands already and is just waiting patiently for him to tell her.

Aro Ace Peter Hale Headcanon
So, I’m working on a teenager Petopher fic with asexual!Peter. And I started thinking about it in relation to canon. And I came to a very odd realization. It’s entirely possible and plausible to headcanon Peter as aro ace. All examples of him being in any relationship aren’t truly sexual.
We know that at some point he had sex with the Desert Wolf. We don’t know when or what their relationship was like. Considering all the Hale story lines, it’s probably tragic and unfortunate.
When he dated Melissa McCall, he was using her to get to Scott. He tried to turn her. But that’s it. You never see him really kiss her or anything else. He flirts, but it’s with intent to manipulate. The max you get from him is the last ep is Season 2 when he’s talking about her. “Have you seen his mother? She’s gorgeous.” Not hot, not sexy, not attractive ... just a sheer appreciation for aesthetic.
When he’s possessing Lydia, he’s younger. And yes, he kisses her. But, again, all of this is manipulation. And that is as far as any of it goes. Some heavy kissing to get inside her head and make her do what he needs so that he can be resurrected.
So ... by total accident ... I am now completely down with aromantic asexual Peter, or just ace Peter, or even just aro Peter.
