In ancient times, tribal archers affixed turquoise to their bows to ensure their arrows reached the intended target. It was also believed that to look at turquoise directly after gazing at the moon in a particular phase would bring luck and prosperity. The Shoot for the Moon Pendant is inspired by the union of these narratives. A deep blue, mystical piece of incredibly collectible and rare Bisbee turquoise, with signature reddish brown matrix, sits atop a handmade sterling crescent moon adorned with arrows and intricate details. It hangs long and low on 30 inches of sterling chain, and will be available in my next shop update on Thursday at 8pm est. I've missed this classic design of mine and am excited to bring it back into regular rotation, along with a few new variations of it. I'm off to enjoy a few more hours at the beach before I head home to work on pieces for Thursday. Hope you're all enjoying this beautiful Sunday! 💙 . . . #shootforthemoon #moonnecklace #moonjewelry #turquoisejewelry #turquoiseoverdiamonds #bisbee #bisbeeturquoise #mythology #mythologyjewelry #bohojewelry #bohemianjewelry #witchstyle #witchythings #witchjewelry #grungestyle #hippiechic #arrownecklace #summerfashion (at Nahant Beach Reservation)
