Redoing a picture I did of Lucien last year. I thought it would be fun to see how different it looks now. Also, Lucien described in leathers, with a ponytail down his back, blood splattered on his face, was the hottest thing in ACOTAR series hands down.

Celebrating (?) with a redraw of an old homestuck art from 2011. For all its problems homestuck was a huge art influence on me

Either way I took up some hours off my sleeping schedule for sake of drawing this. Luckily, I was yet-somewhat-sober when the lineart was done so the outcome looks rather neat compared to what I expected it to feel like.

And yeah, if your memory serves you right, you might recall that I actually did plan on drawing this for some months already. Finally, comeback, callout, camambert cheese and whatever other pleasuring c-things imaginable have become true at last.

The first picture I drew maybe 3 months into getting back into drawing digitally, I always liked the pose and thought it was pretty decent. I thought it would be fun to redraw it now (a year later) to see if I’ve improved. It’s nice to know all these hours of banging my head against a wall hasn’t been in vain.

(I included the grayscale of my second work when it was a WIP. Someone had suggested doing that to check the contrast for the finished piece. Not only does it work but it also made for a pretty sweet picture in and of itself)

I think I’m going to keep going back to this piece each year and trying it again, I’d be curious to see what next year’s looks like!
