👆🏽👆🏽The way your child feels when there are exciting new blacktop games and designs at school. I love being part of these types of projects!!!! I wish I could have helped paint this weekend, bc y’all know that’s my jam. But... still, being part of the brainstorm and planning process with so many wonderful volunteers is priceless. The way Miles feels in this moment is the way I feel in my heart.. . Not saying I’ll be VP of #ptc again at our next school , or even in PRC at all lol 😝 . #mywhy - I joined the #parentteacherclub for two reasons, 1- to show my kids that I could work hard and still be involved and 2- I had a thirst for giving back. The only problem is, I can’t just be apart of something as a bystander, which is why I dove into the head #artdocent role then board advisor And within one year became VIce President of the Board. As a #newlysingle mom w/ #fulltime work it’s still worth it bc of the interactions, as well as what it’s doing for the children!!!
