Why didn’t #17 wish for himself? Looks like he’s been affected by the ‘Son Goku’ effect too.
:P
I haven’t seen much mention of it, but the manga seems to be setting up for a ‘Ribrianne vs. 18′ fight just like the anime did.

This time people wanted Android 18. So I drew her... again. When I was a kid Android 18 was the first character I attempted to learn to draw. So in a weird way, she’s responsible for me being an artist.

Okay, I need to get something off my chest that has been bothering me for the past 2 years now.
In Dragon Ball Z, when Dr. Gero turned orphaned twin delinquents Lapis and Lazuli into Artificial Humans No. 17 and 18, did the process kill them? Like, the whole thing about the androids was that they did not emit ki. (They also had no need for food due to their infinite energy.) Not even Kami, who would have been familiar with both ningen and god ki, could not be able to sense them. Ki is emitted from all living things, yet these two were unaffected by this matter. Are they alive in the same sense that Frankenstein's monster was alive, and their flesh and organs kept only alive through the assistance of their cybernetic enhancements? We know they had human hearts, as that was where Gero had bombs placed in them, and the hearts would be needed to continue to keep their cell tissue oxygenated and alive. But how alive could they be if they were disconnected from the one thing that connects all life? Are 17 and 18 the Dragon World's equivalent of Henrietta Lacks? This has been haunting me since the summer of 2015.
(Also, before you say anything about 17 donating his ki to Goku's Spirit Bomb at the end of the series, that was anime only- In the manga, the scene was originally with Lunch raising her arm.)
