The Birds of the Air

Where are they?  In San Francisco, you can hear the shrieks of the parrots above, but when you look up, where are they?  You almost never see them.  They are small, but incredibly loud.   

This one is on the way to Germany to the Kunsthaus Stove  for a mail art call  where the theme is the The Birds of the Air.

Draw me Your Favorite Book

Or how about paint?  For this mail art call  I wanted an open book with a book with a big New Mexico sky.  Willa Cather’s Death Comes for the Archbishop is one of my all time favorite books. Every time I read it immediately takes me to the Land of Enchantment.  This one is on the way to the U.K.

Peachy Postcards

I often find vintage, peach-themed postcards that I post on my postcard blog, but for this call for mail art “Sweet as a Peach” I went for a more contemporary take on the peach. This one is on the way to Hungary in today’s outgoing mail.
