I still don't understand but i love journaling and penning down my thoughts but often once i write them down and when it's time to go back to it and read it. I just don't like it but when I'm in the moment of writing it down, it's all so magical like I'm creating something beautiful but the spark is gone when i read it later. At times when i pen down something that I'd like to share i suddenly get this gut wretching feeling that it's not that special. Is it just me that gets this feeling? Does anyone know why this happens? Am i even making sense?

Come il solenoide per ogni sua spira

si elettrizza l’anima ad ogni spina

conficcata

il vento autoindotto spira

maestrale

corrente di mare

ammaestrare

il filo a farsi matassa

Pioggia

Il flusso alternato sfreccia

trapassa in obliquo il cielo

l’odore di umido aleggia

la vita schermata dalla scheggia

la schiena sorretta dalla spina

L’eroe sfila

impettito,

procede a passo spedito

la bocca sospira

sciarpa e cappello, l’ombrello

spalancato come scudo

si crogiola nel dolore della bufera

scroscia l’ultima goccia della sera

All’improvviso oltrepassa la mischia

si scontra con le sue mura

s’incontra con una striscia

nera

forata

confine tra realtà e finzioni

la pioggia è durata

il tempo d’un rullino

Si scrolla le preoccupazioni

di dosso

non s’accorge che vive sul dorso

autoinduce le precipitazioni

che nella vita credeva fortuite.

Noise or Silence??

I’m a curious one. The old saying about the cat? yeah, been there (almost) but I am really curious how many of you need the silence to write or need background noise to focus? In school, I had to have music blaring. Now, it’s got to be the TV because I’ll get swept away with music and absolutely NOT  be able to concentrate. Shit, I’m gonna wind up buying a white noise machine, aren’t I?

I’d LOVE to hear from you guys! Lay it on me!
