This is the last spread in my current art journal!
I ended up working on top of the color grid spread from before. I wanted to stay true to that exercise and create a more elaborate expression of what is fundamental to me and my practice.
You may recognize this sacred geometry as Metatron's Cube. It's named after the Archangel Metatron who watches over the flow of energy in creation and provides a connection to the divine. Colors, their relationships between each other and to us as human beings, are the foundation of my path. The shapes I've pulled from the cube connect the primary, secondary, and tertiary colors. Around the wheel I've written the six elements of art as they inform and direct my work. In the exterior space I've written a single descriptive word for each color rooted in color psychology and personal experience. The center features a Pentacle, a symbol used throughout history to represent light, unity, wholeness, and a quest for divine knowledge.
