Imagine growing up with Arya always spying on you to make sure you’re alright.
You had grown used to the scampering in the hallways, coming from little Arya’s feet. Although you were older than her by a little bit, she always seemed to be there behind you, like a mother, making sure that you weren’t going to get hurt or run into the wrong person. Especially since coming to King’s Landing where there were so many threats.
You didn’t mind, you grew used to it. While Sansa was the more feminine sister, Arya was tough, like the boys. Like Robb, and Jon. You were more delicate, according to your family, but you believed that you had an inner strength. Liked to believe that anyway. It felt nice to be looked after though, like having a little guardian angel with a needle.
“Are you going to follow me to toilet as well?” You asked, when there was no one within earshot. Arya’s face popped out from behind some columns, the fire making her look almost like the wolf that she was.
“I am not!” She protested. “I’m just -”
“Making sure that one of the many guards that watch this palace day in and day out don’t take my honor away in an empty room?” You joked, taking hold of her hand. “At least walk with me. If we’re going to be in each other’s company, we may as well have a conversation, you little shadow.”
