I have a question/resource????

I’ve noticed I have a ton of trans guy followers on here and have witnessed some of the exclusion and isolation all y’all face.

So, I saw something and wanna talk about it????

So idk how many people on here watched Old School Buzzfeed back in the day and am only deadnaming because he gave permission in a recent video and so anyone reading this will know who I’m talking about.

There’s this guy, Ash Perez, who was formerly named Ashley Perez who was on Buzzfeed. He came out as Trans in his early 30s after his dad died and reunited with his fellow former buzz feeders, The Try Guys recently.

He’s got this new subseries he does with them called “New Guy Tries.”

I’m not trans, so maybe this is known everywhere in trans guy circles. Or maybe it’s hated. Or maybe I’m just a millenial whose tastes are not relevant to all yall. I don’t know.

But I thought it could be useful/interesting to share?

So, because Ash transitioned as a full adult, he feels like he missed a lot of the socializing into manhood that boys get growing up. So he does various things with other men supporting him who know about his transition and sort of walk him through how they normally do things and allow him to ask questions too and generally provide male experiences without judgment all while talking about their own varied experiences of masculinity as cis men.

I’m sure that this won’t be useful or helpful or wanted for many of you. But I don’t actually know how common this feeling is for trans guys, so I thought I’d share it if that’s ok with you?

The titles are very 2010s Buzzfeed, but the content itself is pretty interesting. Again, sorry if I’m intruding into a space or conversation where I’m not welcome. If this is no good, just tell me and I’ll delete this post.

But I figure if I share it and it is needed, it’s better than staying silent. I know things are rough and resources and community is slim and the world is scary. This seemed like something I personally would find comforting if I was in this position. I’m sorry if this is overstepping.
