Hello kind person on internet,

Was wondering if you ever made a post about how Lucifer is like?

I know He's probably different to everyone just like any other deity, but I've heard He gives "tough love", and I'm not sure if I could handle working with Him

hello there!! I haven't made a post like that yet but I can give at least some info, I may work on a more detailed explanation of my experiences with him but for now here's the basics! Although he's absolutely just like you said, different to everyone.

He's very fatherly to me, very comforting and patient, usually very to the point and straightforward with his messages.

I personally don't respond the best to tough love, so it's entirely possible he avoids showing me that aspect of himself for my sake. It's also possible if you can't handle that, he won't show you that aspect either! I'd say that out of all the deities I've worked with and worshipped, Lucifer has cared the most about my feelings and his effect on them.

He's been a lot like a committed dad to me, by my side thru the hard times and there to celebrate my accomplishments.

I understand fatherly energies can be very overwhelming to most, but his feels very warm and incredibly positive, not overbearing or oppressive.

Azrael smiles. "Well, a body cannot function without a working heart. Likewise, this city cannot function without me. I am the heartbeat, pumping the lifeblood throughout the city." He considers for a moment. "And yes, I do quite like my name. I am an angel, after all."

Icarus shrugs. "I didn't come up with my villain name, some tabloid did. I just went along with it because I didn't hate it and it seemed like too much work to try to change it." They bite their lip before shrugging again. "Icarus is an okay name. I don't really feel one way or another. It does get me weird looks occasionally but I've learned to live with it."

May I ask how did you go about learning about Lord Lucifer?

I know enough about him to be able to vet him and he's expressed wanting to/being a father figure which I'm nervous people will invalidate because he is a Demon

Lord Lucifer is a father figure to me, so I can at least confirm that.

As for information and learning about him, I actually just replied to a comment about this, I didn't think to make a post but here we go!

Some blogs off-site will have good information, but its hard to sift through and find websites that don't call him evil or simply ones that talk about him at all. I've found a lot of posts on tumblr detailing good offerings, his personality, corespondents etc that are a great place to start! I'll link some of my favorites here, but please keep expanding your research and find what feels right! Just because someone says something, doesn't mean it has to be true to your practice
